This man will unite the Catholic and Orthodox Church

It is.
Some of their Patriarchs would probably be willing to come back Rome but their laity wouldn't accept it.

Catholicism goes against the beliefs of the early Saints who were Universalists.

>Universalism
That was denounced as Heresy in a council before the Schism.
I wonder who takes quotes out of context to try to promote heresy.

No it wasn’t post the council. Also, man Saints were clearly Universalists.

Yes, the heretics are wrong.
That's how it works.

And why should I trust the judgement of men born nearly half a millennium after the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ to the Virgin Mary, rather than the teachings of Saints whose teacher’s teacher’s teacher’s were actually taught by the apostles themselves(I’m not referring to Saint Gregory in pic related, but Saint Clement here >>149501559)

The question is about Orthodoxy dogma. The Orthodox agree that Universalism is heresy. If you are Orthodox, you have to agree with the authority of their councils.

No they don’t. Orthodoxy isn’t a top-down denomination, there is no pontifex maximus who can declare what is dogma and what isn’t.

Read up about David Bentley Hart, a famous Orthodox Universalist.
