>>149579461I live on a relatively long and straight strip of road that enters a major expressway in New York.
Unfortunately this is a pretty normal occurrence especially on summer weekends. Between the things they'll never know about a toxicology report and the general recklessness of money and youth, people with minimal driving skills get behind cars made by delusional F1 lunatics and occasionally something goes wrong. (I mean there's a whole scene in the Great Gatsby that is essentially "Rich young people in fast cars go boom")
There was some schizo Persian woman who ran over a kid in some crazy sports car in Brooklyn. I get you can't ban performance sports cars from road access, but there has to be some threshold where you should need extra training for cars of a certain performance level. This shit is completely different from a Ford or a Subaru. If you need extra licenses to drive a truck or even a forklift you shouldn't be able to just take your Portuguese Driver License that you got while driving a Honda Accord and use it on something out of the Fast and the Furious.
