If you think the EPLel is bad, imagine being a fan of a traditional club anywhere else in Europe where they get paid less than Southampton and Ipswich. You can either choose your death:

Your league is so shit the winner still gets paid less than Southampton and Ipswich.

The EPL is as good as it gets for a league. What breaks the balance is the fact that any American or Gulfie can inject unlimited amounts of money into a club until they start winning. Which obviously also happens everywhere else, except Real Sociedad get treated much worse than Everton.
