>Derek Chang has described F1 not as a sport, but as a "content producer"
>It has produced videos on social media for the sorts of fans who do not care about braking stability but do care "what the drivers are eating for breakfast"
>Ian Holmes, F1's media boss, has referred to the leagues 20 drivers as its cast
>bunch of nepobaby zoomers driving in a circle

why would anyone watch that shit
>>149691289Did you even read OP? nufans do not care about those things, that's the point being made

Too many technical restrictions on a supposed "constructor" series combined with on-track action that ends up favoring those who spend more/hire better engineers and an overabundance of rules interfering in the "sporting" aspect reduces it to drivers bickering among each other as the main draw.
This is basically every single sport nowadays, you'd have to be retarded not to think otherwise.
The FIA also keeps interjecting itself to create rulings that are in the interest of making the sport more watchable, not to give the drivers more flexibility to demonstrate their talents. They're more concerned about audience engagement than protecting the spirit of the sport.
They should just do fast cars not this stuff
