>"We heard that financially it would not work, that nobody is interested, but I can say we generated almost 2.1 billion dollars in revenues, for 63 matches," he said.

>"That makes an average of $33 million per match -- no other club competition in the world comes close.

>"Yes, we lost the soccer to Saudi Arabia. We offered it to them and they took it."

>โ€œSurprisingly, there is no opposition to this within FIFA.โ€ Under his leadership, things were different: "Back then, there were still congresses where problems were discussed and the congress made decisions. Today, there is no longer any discussion in Congress."

>The final of the first edition of the Club World Cup between PSG and Chelsea will take place on Sunday. Blatter criticizes the fact that this tournament is taking place at all: "There's too much soccer [...] They played in the hottest summer [...] it's unhealthy and cheeky. [...] You can't do that. You have to protect the players."

He was only kicked out so US can host 2026. It wouldn't shock me if Infantino is an american plant trying to kill football to promote amerishart sports

Zero chance Club World Cuck generated 2 billion dollars unless it was in Saudi and American 'sponsorships' and 'administrative fees' lol.

i hate to break it to Infantino, but the financial success of the FIFA CWC is the death of FIFA. wall street was behind the UEFA Super League and was not pleased the goyim sank the idea.
what is now the future plan is a non-FIFA global football system operated like the NFL or NBA but across the world.
>20 teams, home and away
>top 16 post-season knockout cup (same as MLS cup)
>played in a complete calendar year, spring to december not august to june
>netflix-like media delivery
FIFA football clubs are too expensive to really make fantastic money on and are more of a plaything or cultural washing for foreign billionaires.
one-club-per-country franchises (with a few possible exceptions). games at primetime for each major market. this is a new global football league with the money starting to come in. a few years and it will launch. superstar players will make more money than in premier league. apparel brands have bought in. deals being signed. morocco and indonesia are two of the lesser countries in talks. major euro countries have people interested in franchises.
wall street refused to care what Chelsea fans thought of the super league and now London Football Club will be the team for new londoners to support. i'm breaking an NDA for this post.
