That makes absolutely 0 sense.
Liverpool doesn't, and likely will never have the same level of domestic domination that Bayern does, if nothing else because the EPL will be sure to try to avoid that so as to not lose viewership.
The direct domestic competition is just as rich if not richer than Liverpool.
And if anything, Liverpool has had better runs in UCL than in domestic competition for the last 20+ years (2 league titles vs 2 UCL championships and 3 runners ups).
