They get that money because they have the most watchable and entertaining football matches with great atmospheres in every game. I seriously believe if the PL did something like only 3 foreigner limit per team they would still be the most watched league.

England has the best football league by far. More entertaining. However, their national team has had a string of poor managers who dont know how to use the players.

There is also way too much pressure on the England team so the manager and players always either play it too cautiously and not allow the players to be creative or just fuck up under panic.

They are consistently about that sort of rank. They are never first, whereas countries like France, Germany, Portugal, Spain sometimes win.


I also have another theory. England is very class based; different classes play different sports. Football is for working class low IQ types. Rugby and cricket are for the higher IQ upper middle and upper classes. Therefore a large portion of their population with money and high IQ when they are young never play football so the England football squad has a paucity of those sort of high IQ players.
