This shit is a little to raw and bloody for me honestly. There's something unsettling about hearing those punches and seeing every fighter cut wide open after every, single, fight. It kind of makes me appreciate the UFC a little bit more and makes me appreciate how Dana made it a safer sport.

Anyone else watch Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship? What do you guys think about the sport? Will BKFC overthrow UFC, or do you guys think they will co-exist together?

No, not the way BKFC currently is. Still too much of a freak show. Without trying to be insulting its too american.

How can it be more American than the UFC?

Despite the heavy international presence in the UFC its roots and ethos are distinctly American

UFC's roots are not strictly American. It was obviously inspired by Japanese wrestling and shoot wrestling in general. The spectacle of it all, Inoki vs Ali is exactly what they were going for. There's American influence but there were influences from across the globe, kind of the point of it all.
