I hate this meme
You should look at the cause not the effect
His injuries happened because he couldnt stop spending nights eating partying drinking fucking trannies, same as Adriano Ronaldinho and Gareth Bale

Van Basten or Del Piero but the Romanian is right, it's clear that R9 would've still declined if he didn't get injured

If you mean who had the best couple of years I would say Maradona, because Maradona voluntarily went to Italy back before moving to different countries was a thing, just for the challenge of facing the defenders there - back when Italy repeatedly won the world cup on defence, when penetrating Italian defence was harder than talking your way out of a Spetsnaz prison. And Maradona dragged Napoli from mid table right to the very top to win Serie A, and he wore a shirt that said Super Nintendo.

I hate to break it to you, but everyone has a "degenerative knee condition" - it's called aging. Apparently there is no cure, it just gets worse. If your life revolves around you playing football, you should take as good care of your knees as possible.

Football itself is bad for the knees, logically the more weight the worse. You don't have to be Amerifat-fat to get accumulating damage, it's ever little thud is a tiny bit more wear and tear. And yes, there are plenty of other players also who are out of shape and damaging their most prized asset due to being fat fucks (for a footballer). And if you ever watch some of the lower leagues - the lower the league, the fatter the players become on average, which should tell you something.

If you tell the referee that you have a splitting headache so can't play very well he's not going to say "understandable, have a penalty kick due to your headache". At the end of the day football is about reality, and like I suggested in my earlier post here should have it who had the best couple of years at peak if you want to go down that route.

Pele was shit. I mean he was alright, but football was so much smaller and less sophisticated at the time.

I mean show Pele's great goals, nobody know them. Pele was chosen by FIFA as being a lot more politically correct than Maradona for the best fooballer.
