The old system was really retarded because it was just musical chairs with head coaches and if you got the good coach you were in for natties and if you rolled a bad coach then you’re fucked. Notre Dame, Texas, Tennessee, USC, etc should always be contenders.

I also like that NIL increases parity which makes for more good games. The old way was literally monopolistic. The best players would be incentivized to all go to the same school so they get practice reps against eachother and get the best development.
