I've gotten into this to play some fantasy leagues with my friends and it's damn good fun that doesn't take much time and energy... but man, the focus on wanting you to spend microtransactions or watch ads is a pain, I know they have to make money, it's just boring how the entire mechanics are based on waiting, or paying to wait a bit less, it's just dumb and the fact this makes money is what made FIFA and PES die.

Anyways, for carefree fun with friends, it's fine. Anyone else play this? It's the 1st time I'm playing any sort of manager video game, Football Manager always looked too complicated so I never tried it, is it better?

if anything it's never looked so easy to master, the game's producers have bastardised it so much that the player has essentially become a collector of physical attributes.
