Plenty of new metal types to introduce even more unique weapons/armor into the game, and additional Warrior/Rogue options are always good tk have. Kind of suprised at the lack of Expert/Master Path options, though.

Probably lack of exposure. Most players of genetic ttrpg use 5e presumably because d&d=ttrpg

I’d imagine beyond that, you’d have the crowd that knows more niche games and have likely heard of shitter of the demon load and may avoid this game because of the association

Personally I don't see a reason to move away from Demon Lord, I never had a major issue running a less dark and grimy setting in it and I've hacked together a level 11-20 level paragon system slightly different from the Occult Philosophy rules but most of my games have ended with my PCs being level 10 anyhow.
