There being a penalty for refusing a challenge is a good change, so many WAACfaggots refuse challenges even when their character would never ever refuse a challenge, but all this gambit shit is insane. Imagine the pain of doing multiple challenges in one turn lmao.

Alright I need some interpretation here.
Tarantulas are currently infantry. The current tarantula model is about 65mm wide. Can an enemy model move over these guys even if they don't have clearance for their base? I was gonna but them less than 1" apart from leg to leg but can an enemy model just move over a 5-10mm bit?
I'm fighting a power gamer who lurks here so I'm preparing to be an asshole because he knows me as such so we're not gonna worry about sportsmanship.

Rules state that you aren't allowed to move over or through enemy models. The legs of a tarantula are a part of the model, therefore your opponent wouldn't be allowed to move over them, even if they are small. If you were allowed to move over things that don't have bases then that means enemy units would just be able to walk over vehicles which makes no sense since most of them are travelling incredibily fast.

Appropriate Costs is a cornerstone of balance, but not the only thing. It's not entirely about how many Vindicators you should be able to afford, but also what they are capable of doing.
No amount of points is going to change the fact that S8+ AP2 5" blast was perfection - perhaps too good.
