Andy Hall mentioned it in a long interview with Loremaster of Sotek, that's still around but it's about 2h long.
In the same interview he said there is some big plan the Emperor is working towards, hijacking the Geomantic web for the Wu-Xing compass is probably related to that. It's not been revealed what exactly the big plan is but my guess is either escaping the inevitable Chaos victory to another universe or moving the planet back where it was before the Old Ones.
