I don't really have fun with one group I GM for but besides a little bit of attitude and how they really slow the game down being the usual "Rules lawyer " I have no excuses or reasons to tell them to fuck off and I don't wanna be mean

You could do what people here are saying. Remind yourself that you're under no obligation to run the game. Nobody is entitled to your time and energy. You'll be happier without a group of people you don't enjoy playing with. The other option is to have a real talk with them, explain what you aren't enjoying about the game, and ask them to change. Then if they don't you can just end the game. I've never seen this work myself despite trying a few times but at least you're giving them a chance. The easiest excuse to quit a game is just to say you need to pause it for work or family reasons then let it naturally die.
>>95865700 (OP)>I don't wanna be meanPlan a huge finale with callbacks to all of their previous adventures. Then do an epilogue for their characters before saying 'The end, wow wasn't that fun. We should do this again sometime' and then just stay in a permanent state of haven't found the inspiration yet
>>95865700 (OP)explain nothing, just ghost them
>>95867521The idea of doing a big, elaborate, fantastical campaign climax passive aggressively is the most 4chan concept ever.
Join the army to get away from them

>>95865700 (OP)"It became to me clear that the type of game you want to play and the type of game i want to dm aren't the same. It would be unfair of me to expect you to change your point of view since I don't want to change mine either. So unfortunately I will have to end the campaign."
>You guys ever thought of playing naked?
