As for how a real version would work, they already went about redesigning the game somewhat for a standalone digital version that has been playable for a few years. I imagine a few more revisions are going into this. All it needs to be is as fun and competent as Uno or similar party games, do you not think that this can easily pull that off? Extra strategy will certainly go into the deck building aspect, as again, there's 436 playing cards.
