I'm thinking of ordering a bit of cloth to cover it up.
To protect it from dust of course. Not to hide it so it'll stop taunting me every day, scolding me fo each new kit added to it. Mocking me. Judging. Always judging.

I was drunk the other day and I ordered for about 1000pts of chaos warriors, so not that great I guess

I'm working on it. I'm just a board game faggot and not a war or skirmish fag otherwise it would be a much more pressing matter.

It's 4 unopened infantry kits and one that's 25% complete.

I think I'm managing it pretty well.

Pile of Shame? My entire self esteem is linked to how much I've wasted on overpriced unused plastic. I boast about it to friends and family and call it instead my Pile of Pride! (When I'm not sobbing privately over how I have wasted my life and wealth on pointless soon to be unusable kiddies toys)

I have little trouble assembling minis, but getting them painted can be nigh impossible by this point.

At the end of 2024 I had to do the unthinkable and sell everything, shame pile included.
Now that things have stabilized, I've made a blood oath not to repeat the cycle.
Small, attainable projects done one at a time. Wish me luck boyos.

Free recipe I guess? Sorry I'm retarded.
Thankfully my ego died months ago.

Don't have one, every model or kit I own that isn't finished and in the display case is part of the bits box, be it new on sprue or half painted.

I probably have enough parts in my assorted bits boxes to make around 800-1200 models if I had to guess, maybe more, and have another 150ish delivering tommorow

I switched to an easier to make paint scheme for my minis and ever since the pile has steadily been going down.

I honestly don't know why I don't start working on my pile of shame. Maybe I get too distracted with video games or subconsciously fear failure or something.

It's still in a big box that I haven't opened in 2 years. I just spend my spare time coding instead of painting or playing now.
