How are your games going, tg? I hope you guys are having fun around a table at least once a month, real or otherwise. I don't have anything funny saved to this computer, so have a cowboy

Pretty good, thanks for asking, Anon. My Cyberpunk 2020 game of almost 3 years is wrapping up soon. Not gonna lie, it's going to be a relief. I love the game, love the players, love the campaign, but after so long I'm a bit worn down, and I'll welcome getting to do something else. It's a hard game to prep for.

You share too, though, OP. How's your group doing if you're actively playing?

I've been playing oneshots roughly once a week, and they're good, but the GM wants to more to a campaign in his homebrew setting which honestly sounds awful.
So I think I'll move to solo play for a while (which I've done and enjoyed), but might GM something if I end up bored of that.

the weekly 4e game that I play in has been on hiatus for the past two weeks but we're all set for tomorrow and I am knocking on wood to avoid jinxing it here. I really enjoy this group, they're fun people I get along with.

cyberpunk is a fun setting. the only game i ever managed to successfully dm was a cyberpunk red someshot after I got inspired watching someone write a 2020 quest

Running an Unknown Armies game and a Deadlands game, playing in a 5e game. They are going alright, I'm not a great game master but the bar is low and I'm getting better.

Gonna go buy a white board and make a big fucking conspiracy chart for my UA game today because my players memories are shit and I might have overcomplicated things.

Setting up the reveal of how Demonolotry actually works in UA. Gotta get the exact sleezy voice for "Gary." It's gonna be great.

Yup, having fun running a weekly RIFTS game and playing in an occasional biweekly Nechronica game. This is the good stuff!

>we recently had a heartbreaking encounter with an alternate future version of a friendly NPC and had to put her down like Old Yeller (hopefully the extra life gambit we tried worked)
>the two headed undead construct and the pony are officially a couple
>found an NPC stuck in a chalk prison
>like it was just drawn on the floor and wall to look like a jail cell from one perspective, but he was still stuck
>helped the NPC out only to be threatened with a mini-nuke
>talking dog successfully talked him into handing over the stupid thing like he said he would in exchange for freeing him, then said NPC blundered right into a time loop puzzle that we would probably pull him out of
>talking dog's edible kicked in just after this confrontation, while he still had the bomb
>also he decided to invoke the local trickster spirit, a move which dumbfounded even the GM's narrator character
>said trickster spirit had thought we'd abandoned her and walked back a deal we made with her a while back and that had to get talked out, but we're cool again
>this all took place over the course of like two rooms
Uhh.... well? I'll say it's going well. My GM has mashed so much stuff into the Darkest House that shit hardly even makes sense, but I'm having a lot of fun.

Pretty alright! I've been running a draw steel game for a few months now and we're just about at the end of the adventure. It's been fun a fun game but I'm at the end of my creative rope so we'll have this last fight, get back to base for a narrative payoff, then I'll take a break for a little while to try and find a new adventure or come up with my own ideas.

Game's been about working in a classified military operation with a special branch of a world conquering empire. The "twist" will be that the head guy of this branch is actually part of the resistance against the big empire, and the players can choose if they're cool with that or not.

It's mostly been set on a big dinosaur island, but these last few sessions have been in a big city chasing down some imperial troops who "saw too much".

it's about some ancient halfling empire, where they're all militaristic and feared.

I'm in the campaign prep phase again, so my weekly games are just boardgames. It sucks, but not hard.

It's going really well. The party captured a dark mage, and they'll have to decide what to do with him. We're slowly transforming the one player's girlfriend into a proper player.
