I want to build Wirbel but I already have like 6 Z-tier decks.
Any tips on getting better at Vanguard? A friend of mine bought me a deck to use, but watching the videos in the Op pastebin aren't really helping.

Best advice I can give that has immediate results are:
>Use correct attack order, small to big unless you lose to a 1 card pg, always leave atleast 1 thing standing when attacking with Vanguard outside of turn 2 gambling.>keep track of trigger counts>Get good at mental math and doing simple probability counts.>Know your decks wincon and how/when/if you can play aggressively. Some decks can brainlessly Unga bunga turn 2, some decks need some tact.>Think about your guarding and how/when to waste shield.

It's a long shot but I would have liked to see 3D animations for the G3 Vanguards kinda like how master duel does it.

The dear days model is a hard sell regardless however because even price aside... The video game itself looks lame. Theres like no animation besides the characters blinking, the story mode is just a click to play map, most of the game is just MENUS and lets be real nobody knows who the fuck Akina or Yuki are so putting them front and center is fucking stupid. Its like FuRYU or Bushiroad think they can get away with a YGO World Championship type game when those worked because people recognized Yugi from Shonen Jump. If they want it to do well theyd do not just what I mentioned but also give Akina or Yuki a greater legacy.

>>95992154They are just too lazy. I heard that apparently, for dear days 2, they didn't even bother modifying the npc decks from dear days 1, they just added 4 cards to them. From what I heard they also apparently remove the unique vanguard attack animations. The problem with dear days is twofold it fails as a single player game and as a multiplayer one. It's too expensive for a card game multiplayer game(which should be free) but also not polished enough for a single player card game.

I finally gave Limit Break era a try and whoever says it's peak Vanguard is lying to you.
Every single deck sucks and bricks constantly. Half of every game, one player will get gradestuck or get rushed down with a full field.
Because pretty much none of your units have any effects so games come down exclusively to who drew more triggers.
It's balanced in the sense that both players have an equal shot of winning through sheer pure chance.

In hindsight, Yuyu wasn't nearly as gay as I expected when the series opened up with him cross dressing and going on dates with Danji. He's only like the fifth most Danjisexual character and really spends most of his time focused on himself. Aichi was way more gay.

Her Deluxe run has been good but it just makes me wonder if she wouldn't have such a bad reputation in the first place if she hadn't been plastered all over Overdress originally.

Honestly the tournament results matter less to me than whatever the rest of the season is after since I'm convinced they won't end it on the tournament grand finals. Some Yuyu or Nao cap off fight sounds more likely. I think Erika will beat Akina even so that he can have his epic win somewhere else.
