If you can carry a large chest up stairs, you can break through a stone wall.

Lets stress test that
For 15 Your grown human shouldnt weigh too much over 80kg. Deadlifting 80 isnt that special but it depends on what lift means. Ohp 80kg is pretty special, but either case is enough for wooden doors given time

Above that is 25. A horse can weigh up to 500kg, we'll say 350 to be fair. Squatting 350 is getting close to a world record and ohp would be insane. If you're a world class powerlifter then yeah, a thin unmortared stone wall is not going to be too much of an issue even without tools

Now at 20, thats halfway between 80 and 350, so we'll say 200kg
If you can lift three people at once i reckon you can smash down a stone wall if you have any kind of tool available. Kids can knock bricks out of walls without too much trouble, so it checks out

A wooden treasure chest is going to be 80-100lbs of dead weight at minimum, maybe up to 200 if it's a sturdy one. Think about the weight of a wooden door then double it, that's the floor of a large chest's weight, and that's not even getting into its size and having to actually hold the thing.

It's not like a barbell or a sack, chests are not designed to be carried or lifted by a single person.

Additionally, the other example is a tipping a "laden cart" as in "a cart filled with a heavy load" meaning that the chest is likely also loaded and heavily so, for its size.

I'm assuming it means the chest is full of gold and jewels which do weigh enough that solo lifting them up (not just dragging them) a flight of stairs would be pretty impressive

World record squat is way higher then that. Vlad Alzahov squatted 525kg raw, and if you want to go super raw you've got 490kg by Ray Williams.

Lifting a grown man usually means picking up a body as if it's dead weight. Thats far harder then deadlifting or maybe even overhead pressing an cooperating person.

Anon, "tool" can just mean a hammer, stick, or suitably handy object with which to exert force. You have a horribly narrow view of what "tool" can mean and jump to extremes like a neurotic pest.

It's a roll of twenty, not a score of twenty.
And given weeds have all the time in the world, if the GM allows for it, they can easily take twenty over several years of effort.

That's the point, anyone with any strength score can do anything with the proper tools and enough time. Engineering. His argument was that this retarded chart was reasonable if you just let the characters apply engineering to the strength stat table.

Eh, I dunno man I think the whole "no publicity is bad publicity" thing has come and gone, at this point 99% of the publicity for every game I see is people talking about why they will never play it. D&D and Shadowrun both have new versions that absolutely nobody is playing and are so distasteful that nobody will even argue about why they suck other than to universally make fun of them (while one tranny who will never play them either rabidly defends them for The Narrative).
Making fun of dogshit games is good, it shows up and coming game designers what not to do if they want to be successful.

When I was four-years-old, I had to get a blood test done, but had no idea what was going on and I was absolutely terrified of needles. I remember a doctor or nurse showed me the needle with some stupid bowtie plastic piece on it and tried to tell me it was a butterfly. I was a gullible kid, but I wasn't that stupid.
It took four people to hold down my arms and legs and one to use the needle and even then, it took my grandfather talking me down to let it get done.
