>Casual TCG night at FLGS
>Fighting an opponent where I'm very disadvantaged and my only win-con is to drag the game out and win via fatigue.
>Opponent is playing a somewhat complicated deck. with many moving parts and interaction.
>My turns are under 10 seconds while he is taking minutes.
>He is drawing badly and is getting very tilted with each turn.
>Every other table is done and waiting for us and another newbie table to wrap up.
>As I'm doing my cleanup to pass the turn, he suddenly snaps loudly at me how he has a response and how i should ''''RESPECT MY OPPONENT''''.
>Store goes dead quiet after the outburst.
>Takes everything to not clap back i would respect him a player if he respects everybody else's time.
>But there is no reason to escalate the situation so i simply give my apologies and restore board state.
>No interaction or change in board state after that outburst, so he literally threw a tantrum over nothing.
>Game drags out another good 20 minutes.
>He concedes while mumbling stuff about luck and how ''it is what it is'' while making shrugging.

What would you have done in my shoes /tg/?

I'm not bothered because everybody has bad days, just surprised a full grown adult would behave is such a way.

I'd do what you did but sort of half-laugh at it, like just some air comes out enough that you know it's a laugh type of laugh, and if that's his final straw he isn't allowed to come again if I have anything to do with it

Concede.
I don't track my W/L, and life's too short to play a game with a dipshit. "Hey, I've gotta bounce, you win." has no counterargument.

Same thing except I wouldn't have apologized.

I would tell him that I'm playing to my outs.
I'm no stranger to games where the wincon shifts to letting the opponent deck out while I answer whatever threat they present. In fact, those are some of the most enjoyable games I've had.
