It's focused on fantasy adventures that covers a decent range of tones but with a definite skew towards a darker one. There are a lot of classic inspirations with a few nicher ones that suggests the author actually enjoys what the game is about. If the game is some sorta darkish dungeon crawlery thing with PCs that are notable in someway, rather than being plebs, with some weird things thrown in then it's a solid appendix n.

No, because some of these entries are not related to actual Pulp Fantasy milieu. Thank god it's in the back of an OSR manual, because those players are aware of the milieu they are fostering. If they were to try and get a friend into pulp though who has never picked up a pulp fantasy novel before this is going to give them the wrong impression of Pulp fantasy as a distinctive genre from High Fantasy.
