Hypothetical scenario
In an evil lord's keep, you find a cursed four-poster bed with a sordid history. The curse will compel anyone who gets on it to stay on it even when at risk of death by violence, disaster, or thirst/starvation, and the only way to free them is for someone else to take their place. Because I'm magical realming it up like that guy who wrote forgotten realms, the bed's curse also makes you horny to the point of madness over time.
The bed however is made of excellent high-quality materials, and the magic on it is of great potency. A buyer would spend a ludicous amount of money for this piece of furniture. The curse is intertwined with the bed, and removing it will cause it to crumble and fray into useless scrap not even worth using for tinder.
Would you find a buyer for the cursed bed, or would you destroy what is basically elaborate shackles for a sex slave and forgo the wealth?
