That's because the only marketing they could afford is transparent unpaid ads like OP.

>>>/ic/ is that way friend. You can also post your digital art montage in any of the art or a related world building or lore thread, although I'd advise you to keep at least a minimum standard. Photo shopping unrelated artworks from different artists into one picture with no connection is bad form though.

If they really wanted to advertise they should at least do the bare minimum and put the name in the filename.

I knew it exists, yet I have no idea what alien races are in that game, nor does any of the ones in the OP look recognisable. If OP hadn't shopped artoworks from several artists into one picture this would be generic space opera slop.

Reverse image search shows nothing and Starfinder is mostly famous for being a flop. Itch and dtrpg are filled with failed systems, why should I recognize any of them?

I was an enormous shill for Starfinder back when Paizo Games General was Pathfinder General. I bought Against the Swarm solely so people can have it on the archive.

But I donโ€™t give a damn anymore because nobody wants to play it.

One of the worst troll threads of late.

Anyway, picrel is one of my favorite images. This game is poo. I find Paizo's weird obsession with level scaling and MMO balancing is a lot harder to stomach in a scifi game for some reason.

This obscure advertising technique you are using, instead of generating my interest, has instead annoyed me, so I will put this product (whatever it is) on my "DO NOT BUY" list. And no, I will not be discussing it with my friends later.

You have failed as an advertiser and should be ashamed of yourself.

From the comment, it appears this is Starfinder, which is the scifi version of Pathfinder, right? And Pathfinder is the clone of 3.xpf? I've never played it 'cuz I hated 3.xpf. But if I had enjoyed it, this'd seem like a perfectly reasonable party of PCs, to me. Like... if Spelljammer leaned a little heavier on the scifi elements and you presented this as a PC party in it? Eh. Looks fine.

Genuinely funny that so few people care about Starfinder that even a deliberate bait thread intended to antagonize people into replying can't manage to garner interest.
