Didn't really think of order when writing the prologue. I'd prefer to leave Hyde's Canto for 3-5 or something, but I'll pick up the slack if no one else wants to go first.

Might go with the group stopping by X-corp first, if Minos anon doesn't have a problem with it. Introduces a major antagonist that can repeatedly appear to kick the Sinner's asses (Minotaur), gets some background on Minos and his deal. Maybe even drop hints about Arthur - X-corp's theme is knights, he could be living in the deepest parts of the mines/labyrinth (maybe the reason he's so strong is cause he wields X-calibur).

Well the guide is basically the manager above the manager. They're directly hired by Limbus Company. Even if they don't fight they are always there on the bus making sure the sinners stay the course.

The manager is there to order the sinners around and revive them, but people can still order the manager around. I think if you set yourself up to fraud by feeling like there's nothing else for them to do, it'd make it difficult for anyone to try and feel a reason to include you since using a dump isn't much different than throwing in some other deus ex machina to escape a fight.

Depends. Abnormalities is a pretty specific term for the kind of monsters that Lobotomy Corporation made using their singularity. They're pretty much all very obscure information since they never left their facilities, and even after L-Corp fell the abnos were trapped in the ruined facilities. So if you really mean abnormalities in that context, then there isn't. Some are certainly stronger and more dangerous than others, but they're all equally unknown to the vast majority of people.

There are however other kinds of monsters. There are distortions (people affected by the light who didn't form an E.G.O), of which the Pianist is likely the most famous due to killing off ~80% of a nest. There's also the bloodfiends who are a somewhat similar phenomena. Both tend to get treated like monsters rather than people by everyone but the head. There's also plenty of entirely unrelated and less intelligent monsters, like the whales living U-Corp's lake are somewhat famous.

He was a massive humanoid that played a piano in District 9, and anyone who heard his music died. He killed about 80% of the district before a Color fixer killed him. The same unnamed company made an Iron Maiden that can ‘solve any problem’ because it kills you so you don’t have to worry about the problem anymore.
In the south of the city are the Great Lakes, where a bunch of ‘whales’ and sea monsters that are nightmare fuel live and kill a lot of sailors.
Basically anyone can distort and gain abilities and powers based on their trauma or ideations. Most don’t usually last very long though.

Uhh... Also, as an addendum, in canon when the Sinners ran into distortions, it typically ended in a sort of magic dungeon adventure based on the trauma of the person who became the distortions. The crew gets to learn about the person, from the kind of life they lived to what led them to distort, and at the end the Sinners fight the distortion in a boss battle before helping the distortion un-distort.

If you do use a distortion as an enemy, you don't strictly need to go that route. You could explain it away and say we didn't know about it yet, or could waive it by saying the guy was too far gone to un-distort and the dungeon didn't even spawn as a result. It's an option you can use if you wanna ape how canon handled them, but it's absolutely not required. Also there's no such thing as un-distorting a bloodfiend. Those guys you legit are just supposed to kill. Same with random monsters like the whales.

The weird one is abnormalities. They're actually unkillable. If you beat them up enough, they turn into an egg-like structure to recover. There is no destroying the egg, at least not that I'm aware of. Our gift hax or having a sinner perk like Tiphereph likely won't change that part. It'll just make getting them into that egg form easier. I want to say Limbus Company will send some goons to collect the egg later, so they can safely ignore it? Not 100% sure on that part.

Keep in mind all abnormalities histories are fake. Its all made up, its just the “backstory” of their existence, but they only existed for as long as Lobotomy Corporation. There’s little reason to believe that someone actually made a ton of these when its never actually been seen used outside the facilities, and its most likely representative of the products the Wings ship out or some other event that involved killer robots. Same with every other abnormality, their pasts are manufactured, it goes hand in hand with the fact no matter how human they look they are just monsters created from the human consciousness.

On my end, Morella Isn't the real Morella. She's a more ordinary fixer who left behind their childhood dreams of what a fixer is like in order to survive in the City. She dug her angel aug out of some lobocorp ruins herself and she only joined the Dieci association because their augments were synergistic. She ultimately started to mercy kill other fixers if they were badly hurt in order to grow stronger.

The real Morella was a younger, bright eyed Dieci fixer from the association orphanages, and was a genuine justice autist. The fake Morella felt an unusual and powerful mix of adoration and repulsion for her, and for the first time actually killed an ally straight up instead of just a mercy kill. Upon obtaining all of the real Morella's information, the fake understood that the real Morella was basically the kind of person she dreamed of being but was too weak to become. She ultimately decided to report herself as dead and became Morella because she felt the City needed people like Morella far more than people like herself. Her goal is to take the information in her angel aug to revive Morella and her other victims without the head just re-killing them all, and Limbus Company promised her just that.

Her canto would involve her temporarily losing her angel aug, leading to the reveal that she's been using the real Morella's data to disguise her actions and personality. From there it'd proceed to her past sins coming back to haunt her in physical form, and ending in the fake Morella realizing she can be a real hero without hiding behind the real Morella's data.

I think it goes without saying that Desdemona cherishes both platonic and romantic relationships to a point that that it can be detrimental to her. Love is beautiful and should be protected. She's not dumb or necessarily lacking in awareness, but she loves deeply and doesn't hesitate to support her loved ones in most things. The apocalypse isn't one event, it's multiple combined into one
It started with a plague, then was continued by a giant fight, then had a century-long break and finally concluded with another fight that was completely different and very weird (also with completely different parties involved)

I figured it'd be too convoluted to include in the pitch so I left it out, and I also wanted to see how other anons might envision the apocalypse first
Especially since I didn't want to impose too much of myself onto the mp, since I felt I was doing a lot of that with the lore as it was
But I kind of didn't think through what having an idea for the apocalypse even meant in the first place, in this context (eg: that I would either have to be the one revealing it or resign myself to it never being exposited)

For Hyde, he was originally Jekyll, and worked in a branch of L-Corp located in District 13. He would research Elixir during this time, originally developing it as a 'suppressant' that could repress abnormalities that became hostile. The project would have funding cut when it was revealed that this lowered production.

When L-Corp fell, Jekyll became depressed when he saw what Light did to the City. M-Corp would recruit him shortly after, wishing for him to continue his research into Elixir and discover a method to sever the Light's connection. The overtime, expectations and lack of progress with Elixir lead to Jekyll abusing it, using Hyde as a coping mechanism. He'd eventually be shown M-Corp's singularity - rather than preventing someone from feeling negative emotions, they move the emotions to a prisoner held deep in M-Corp facilities. The Wing only wanted Elixir to work because it would stop prisoners from distorting.

Hyde grew more dominant, eventually making conditions even more inhumane for the prisoners. Jekyll would completely run away at this point, permanently transitioning into Hyde. Hyde would be fired days later because he's Hyde.

Hyde's Canto would involve Jekyll coming to the surface somehow (Clone, Hyde distorts and splits into two, the Golden Boughs resonating with Jekyll instead of Hyde, etc) and fleeing the Sinners because he knows he can't fight his friends. He would make his way to M-Corp, planning to bomb it and mercy kill the prisoners while stopping M-Corp - ignorant to the pain the M-Corp Feathers would experience. He hates Hyde for all the heinous shit he's done, while Hyde hates him for abandoning him. Not sure what the ending would be right now, but them clashing with Prisonhouse of Disposition would be kino.

Why? Personally, I think apocalypse stories are done best if it could reasonably happen again. Something like an ancient monster awakening and then going to sleep for another 1000/0 years or a meteor/deadly weather event wiping everyone out with another meteor/weather event possiby on the way. The plague works, but why did it not wipe out all life? If the survivors all built up an immunity to it, then it's not very scary. For the war/fight, are those players still around? If not, then it's not very scary. It's more so a "well that sucks for them lmao" thing than a "oh fuck I hope that doesn't happen for us" thing. The only way I can see something like that work and be more interesting than other options would be if it's a set up for time travel.

All three events have solid chances of happening again. None of the fighters were ever properly killed, one of the parties involved is sealed within The City itself, and the plague hasn't died. It just mutated and lost its primary vectors, so it looks different and isn't as immediately dangerous anymore. The plague is the primary cause for ferals, and the main difference between ferals and Pokémon like the PCs is that the former live around areas of extremely high exposure and so are bombarded by the plague on a constant basis. It's why dungeon-diving is so dangerous: if you stay in there for too long, you start turning into them

He is stuck in between the scientific version of it being "just chemicals in the brain" (very modern of him I know, especially for a wizard) and the romantic idealized version. He is fully convinced that there are some things in this world you just can't explain, however since he never felt love before he can't be sure if love is one of them. Love potions are a thing, some other spells that deal with love exist, it can clearly be manipulated to some degree, but it also can't be really forced as none of those methods are 100% reliable or consistent.
If he were to actually fall in love he wouldn't be able to realize it unless someone points it out to him. Acting irrational is not strange for him, but he does follow his own logic, breaking that pattern would be unusual and would confuse him greatly. The things he does for his sister get very close to that, in the end familiar love is also a form of love.

He used to be a real romantic, despite studying psychology, had a very idealized version of it. Now he's more jaded and more willing to follow what he studied but remains idealistic. It's not something he would show but he does care about the people around him, he just doesn't want to get attached, not to not suffer himself, he is used to that by now, but to not make others deal with that sort of pain. After all he already died, he alredy failed, he left people behind, and the souls of the dead remind him every single day.
He will have to get over at least part of that to be able to evolve, he already faliled once to bond enough with anybody and died for it, and the irony is not lost on him. His current plan is to just forget about it and hope he can find answers without it.

I am not set on anything so far, I am still reading about the setting. I wrote him as a pretty jaded person who just works to get cash, to live keep on living. He doesn't trust people as far as he can throw them, so maybe overcoming that could be a thing. Or he gets inspired by the Sinners overcoming their individual issues and gets a new outlook on life.

This attracted two kinds of bad attention: the boys who would constantly attempt to attatch themselves to her and the brutal workload she was given. Her abilities as a researcher and technician were exploited from the age of 12, with a long life of further intellectual exploitation ahead of her. Her wing saw so much promise in her. Her workload pushed toward more than coffee and drug addiction, but to a point where a distorted version of her would pilot her body whenever she did sleep and steal the light of a few people every night with her kiss.
Instead of killing her, or weaponizing her, she was given "mercy" by a manager of hers who was enamoured with her studious and graceful charms. She didn't notice she was on an operating table before it was too late and control device was placed on the atlus vertebra of her spine. Selene was kept as her manager's pet while technically working less, the other half of her unending day spent trying to love the man who "saved" her.
When the control device malfunctioned, Sleeping Beauty immediately made a break for freedom. On the way out, half of her wings guards lost their light and were subsumed as thralls, while the managers life was only spared by his absence that evening. Selene has no idea what she signed to become a sinner, doesn't want to find out what will happen if she tries to leave.
She is not a figher in the traditional sense, more of a researcher who can figure out complicated abnormalities and when needed turn her control device off to let Sleeping Beauty fend off attackers, though she can be just as dangerous to her allies as she is enemies. Selene's distorted nature means mental attacks do almost nothing to her, as Sleeping Beauty likes only two beings inside the meatsuit of hers.

Overall she seems like a pretty cool sinner. I'm happy to get another nerd who can compete with Mila for the position of "which sinner is dragging everyone's physicals down?". I actually kinda like that her distortion side is the one who signed the contract. It's a neat detail.

This is the one odd thing. Abnormalities are a super minor niche, and wings largely don't care about them. More importantly, abnos are pretty much all inside the old L-corp ruins... So finding them isn't actually difficult at all. Personally I'd maybe change it to a distortion detector. That's an actual epidemic, and something the wings care a lot more about due to stuff like the Pianest. You could even have a thing where it can detect people who are getting close to distorting (since it's not an entirely binary process- it's more like an invisible and gradual process that leads to a sudden change upon completion).

The other side issue... Depends on Minos-anon and how much he wants to ape canon. In canon, Dante is himself able to detect abnos and distortions and can tell them apart by aura alone. If Minos can do the same, then either this tool or Minos's Dante abilities would suffer a bit from redundancy. His anon seems chill though, so I don't think he'll mind it.

He can be disembowled, incinerated, blinded, but his skeleton will remain completely in-tact. Bones not breaking is a bonus! Of course, he still needs muscle to move. And Jocasta can give him that and more! As she devours, it can restore Eddy completely. And it hurts. And he loves it. And he loves Jocasta.
