>>95969961 (OP)Because it doesn't look good. Since day one, like 1850, the option for accurate scaling has been present but avoided. Accurate scaling does exist though and, what a shocker, the only people that use it use for display art pieces.
I'm a 3d sculptor and have to actively fight my brain on this point because they look like shit when scaled correctly. I'm currently working on an Eldar knock off line, they're more in line with expected proportions but when on a base and looking down at them they look lanky and lithe despite having actually SHORTER proportions than 7.5 heads metric. Without opening up Zbrush to check I think I have them at 5 heads (same as GW) and they look lithe.
Also the fact you have pulled up your renders in non-orthographic mode tells me all I need to know about the kind of person you are, you telegram scraping heathen. I have no issue with people stealing models despite making money from them, it's just that 75% of the people that do are loud complainers that bitch and moan about modularity, scale, presupports, and drain holes.
ALSO left will be WAY easier to paint and print vs right. No way your lazy ass will get the post processing done neccessary for the ribbing effect on the abs to show, you'll leave your 6 month old wash alochol in every nook and cranny, paint it like shit, then complain about how your local gaming group doesn't allow prints.
