Stats on the subject have much of Western and Central Europe along with the US/Canada preferring AoS over TOW. Latin America/Spain and Russia prefer TOW. Don't ask me why that is the case, I ain't an expert.

It's more the models. I know lots of people that have bought Goblins Underworlds boxes for Fantasy and AOS, not to play Underworlds itself, but that's because they have awesome models. A few others too people buy to use an alternative sculpts.
These are just hideous so there is absolutely no reason to buy them. Ugly models, can't use them so no use as a unique unit either
