Now that I think about it all my bad guys are all champions/pawns of sealed demons and angels which is kinda lame.

I should have one bad guy who just says fuck you all. I got the perfect idea. A powerful hero who vanquished a demon, absorbed his power, and decided to conquer and destroy the seal that keeps demons and angels out of the mortal plane to kill and eat more of them.

I have an Evil King who lives on Evil Mountain. He has an Evil Army led by his Evil Wizard, who uses Evil Magic. His Evil Army consists of his Evil Minions, who use their Evil Weapons to inflict Evil Violence upon the population.

The legendary Evil Artifact is the source of his Evil Power, and he intends to use it to take over the world and subsume everything into his Evil Kingdom.

Yeah. He was my character in a previous campaign who initially resisted the temptation of an evil sentient sword after he was left the sole survivor of his party in a particularly hostile dungeon. It offered him the power to save the tormented souls of his dead friends from this prison, and in return he lost his free will to the Conqueror's Blade. Ended up becoming a multiplanar evil warlord that was finally halted in his tracks on a plane that resembled a mishmash of far eastern cultures. He entered a stalemate for a few thousand years until the player characters of that game shattered the sword and set him free. He now wanders the planes as a knight errant seeking redemption for his moment of weakness.
