Conventional sports have doping scandals left and right and there's been incidents of professional chess players taking various drugs over the years. Just curious if anybody knows of doping in the tournament scene of other games? Do MTGfags ever get hopped up on Ritalin? Would juicing while playing Warhammer do anything or would you just get all shaky and drop your (and probably your opponents') minis all over the place? Any of the big tourneys ever try to give people piss tests?

There have been plenty of controversies about cheating. For example deck manipulation, loaded dice that sort of thing. They’re not games where drugs are going to help much.

From what I understand in order to succeed with PEDs you just need to be from a targeted growth area for the sport and to have a person in your fold who creates a conflict of interest with the league within which it participates
Worked for hockey so it probably works for teegs too

sure people take ritalin and adderall for this stuff. people are sad enough to buy out entire boxes of cards to scalp, you think they arent sad enough to pop a few pills for tabletop glory?

i actually have a script for mine, but i dont think i ever took it for a game. im here to relax after all, i hardly need four hours of drug focus to pretend to be an elf
