So my players did this thing this weekend that's gonna finally let them fool around in the big town, the gem of the Flanaess, tCoG. I was playing around with getting a new giant tapestry printed with the Valusek map to go with my one of Darlene's worldmap but there isn't as much love for Valerie's.

Picrel here by MStanton (who even is this guy) is nice but he never posted an UNannotated version - and he has no contact info for me to beg one off of him so I gave up on that and just decided to fuck around with my own captured from my own paper map so I thought I'd share it.

Thoughts? Feelings? Is it too washed out? The original's color is pretty intense.

As you can see the color is like YOWZA - am I looking at a black light poster here?

This is the (best imo) actual photo I took this morning - forgive the dog hair but it's shedding season and this is RIGHT inside the deck door where there was good light from the right and I hit it with a halogen from the left. I feel like maybe the light isn't perfectly balanced (when even is it) and maybe I should have put the natural light at the top and the artificial light at the bottom but whatever I already threw that hat over the wall.

The actual paper really isn't as crazy saturated as what gets circulated right? Am I nuts?

Here's a photo of real paper some other guy took for a whole 'nother reference. I think I got the color pretty right in my OP. This is the kind of thing I can obsess over.

Ooo spicy. My players just noped out of going in that direction and shortcutted it using Living Greyhawk material. Portaled right to the Spidership's bridge (sans Lolth) and managed to actually pilot it, landed it right outside the CoG.
