For the prompt, I explained it more in another response, but I imagined her preferring to keep her distance while controlling her EGO to attack rather than brawling. Though, she's not incapable up close. Especially not when considering her bloodfiend abilities, but won't be inclined to make many overt uses of them at the start. When up close, she's more operating on instinct than refined technique but has the benefit of her performance tending to improve over the course of a fight because the large role her emotional state plays. Being a Sinner does benefit her somewhat since her relationship with her coworkers is something she sem-reliably use to fuel EGO's main function eventually.

I'm gonna rot a bit - I got some stuff out last thread and want to give others a chance to write, so I'll probably stick to just updating the loredoc if anyone makes an entry. I'll start back up again once we get a writefag or two (or if we start dying and no one wants to write the next part of the rhapsody).

For the prompt, Hyde's fighting style is entirely underhanded tactics and Geneva convention violations. He isn't skilled in direct combat, so he has to rely on attacking opponents while they're distracted. Shooting someone in the back with darts while they're fighting an ally, smacking them with his EGO and capitalizing on the confusion, releasing chemical gas to keep enemies from closing distance, etc. Because he doesn't rely on his own strength he hasn't been too affected by the Sinner contract - the benefits (immortality, EGO, support) far outweigh the weakness.

I'd say in terms of combat he works really well with direct fighters (Karras, Damsel, Watson, etc) because they can actually fight the enemy while Hyde focuses on debuffs and shifting conditions in the Sinners favor. He works poorly with the shitters (Mila, Basil, etc) for the same reason - he also does poorly with Morella and Fenrir specifically, but that's more personality conflict.

Not really. Limbus Company (the group that hired most of the characters) is just a corporation that is focused on scavenging artifacts from one of the old Megacorps (L-Corp). 'Law enforcement' in the City only really exists in two forms - the Zwei Association (which are more bodyguards, but they can still police certain areas) and the Head (which focus on upholding a few strict taboos, like 'No long-term cloning' and 'no AI'), and neither are really against the Sinners right now.

The leader suggestion was mostly because Sherlock would work for Moriarty and no other antagonist has a build. The Minotaur and Theseus are getting some set up in the last writefag (Rhapsody 1), but both are NPCs.

You could ignore the whole Sherlock idea and be part of the 'Before Team' like >>96106833 said - their job is scouting ahead and collecting information on where a Golden Bough (the thing Limbus Company is looking for) is located. You'd likely have more interactions that way too, but still a bit less than if you just made a Sinner.

Went with Viciousness of Combat, so she fights like a complete bitch. If Carter can shovel your face while you're climbing up a ladder and send you falling back down, that's victory. If she can lure you into a failed containment zone and get you jumped by abnos, that's even better.
She's got no honor or fighting spirit, so she'll just use a low risk high reward strategy every time, repositioning and retreating until she finds something she can use. With her Silver Key, she could unzip the floor to try and drop pursuers through the floor, or throw you into the firing line of a turret, which makes her even more dangerous once she builds her mental map.
In video game terms, she's Dark Messiah with way more kiting.

Hieroglyph Clock is basically the same, but with the added time pressure of needing to kill it fast or the problem's getting worse.

Losing some combat power doesn't affect her too much, but getting chained to a large team would really mess up her rhythm. Skirmishing with wallhax works when you don't have teammates you need to keep alive for the mission.

Personality wise, out of a fight, Po is quiet and reserved. He sees this all as a drag, and wants to go home if you asked him. He doesn't drink, doesn't boast, and keeps to himself. Thinks everyone here is just a psycho, honestly.
In combat, this changes. He boasts, he taunts, he insults. All while acting like a demented old codger himself; calling people his same age or even older "whippersnappers who are fighting without 50 years of needed experience". Ask him about this, he'll say "yeesh..." and probably dodge you for the rest of the day.
For his fighting style, he focuses on fishing for Crumple Blows and evasive maneuvers, and coats himself in an eerie blue flame to increase his damage, the result of an ancient Chinese martial art that who knows where he picked it up from. The Làzhú Quán is a tool for combat, and nothing else, he says. One of the few people knowledgeable about the subject will tell you that's not the case. But who even is knowledgable about it? The Làzhú Quán died with an old man known as Shen 30 years ago, and Po doesn't look a day over 25.

Agreed that the way things are written is a little rough, it could do with another editing pass. For example, you just instantly start talking about demons and the 'other side' in the same sentence instead of slowly leading the reader into the concept of other dimensions naturally. You don't need to rush, infinite text space is rentry's big advantage.
Did I miss something, or was Assault (for Insurgent) just the beta name for Rebellious, or is this an Idolon+Origin combo?
I like the idea of personality-based powers to encourage diverse build types, but you should probably lay out all the base personality types in a short list at least before you go off listing the combos.
