FIRST FOR FUCK ROYAL KNIGHTS
ESPECIALLY THE ACES
>>96111823Except Alpha Ouryuken, right?
>>96111839It really isn't, because it is too difficult to suspend Arisa compared to other liberator decks, and you mix and match your tamers and rookies in puppets.
>>96110730So what's the combo? Not everyone is on twatter.
>>96111603 (OP)Two pre releases and I got the plug for a case at 900.
It was sent off to me but I have to see if it gets here by Saturday Pre Release. Wanna have it open ahead of time to mass sell/trade to players.
>>96111823Welp RKs are getting Ulforce ACE so thats one more to worry about!
>>96111974In Raising your stack ends in BT4 Digiburst RizeGrey.
The pieces are Sunmon + Coronamon. Agnimon/Vritramon of various kinds on top. Play out Blue Sayo + Koh and 1 Red Memory Boost. Turn pass.
Promote BT4 RizeGrey. Pop Red Memory Boost to gain +2 Memory.
DigiBurst two materials underneath to play out BT17 or EX09 Tai + Matt. Guy in video does this 3 times. You need 2 minimum for loop.
Play out EX05 Coronamon from hand.
Use EX06 Spadamon's 1 Cost effect from Hand to tuck under Coronamon. Pass turn.
Trigger Sayo + Koh, play out EX06 Spadamon from Coronamon. This triggers +1 memory from Tai + Matt bc RizeGrey is out
Spada self bounce to recycle. Your turn again bc Memory = 0+ on your side.
2nd route is just Rize + Blue Sayo/Koh with same combo but WereGaru ACE raw play from hand.
>>96112084They need to rule Aces to overflow when they get tucked under Yggdrasil.
>>96112084Oh, it's just the same turnsteal loop but with Matt + Tai, got it.
>>96112274I understand that they designed it so that overflow doesn't trigger if you put a mon on the field into another card's sources and potentially trigger overflow twice in a row but the case should be different with Yggy because the breeding area can't be touched by your opponent.
>>96111914EX7 Chapero basically can cause any Arisa to suspend. You can even pay the overclock cost without attacking to trigger the mem gain one that plays a body. Plus the option card can bring back Arisas you discard for Hanimon or Kokeshimon. If anything it seems really easy to force an Arisa to suspend thanks to the new draw one that suspends whenever a puppet is played.
Ngl tho Ive actually been thinking of committing to full chaperos and cutting Karakurumon just for Nyabootmon turbo. Mostly as a meme build tho cause Karakurumon is insanely too good. But it would effectively turn Nyaboot into a level 6 for the deck. The deck just feels like is has so many legitimate good cards to work with. Even the new bt22 Cendril isnโt half bad for the token generating speed increase. I think the only legit โbadโ card puppet got in bt22 is maybe the new Shoeshoemon, if it bring back a level 3 from trash then it would be good, helping recover any level 3s you used under it.
But honestly my biggest complaint with puppets is how many everything wants to work with Arisa tamers. Mirai is such a good card and enables alot of dumb plays already. Just wish there were more ways to cheat it out. Not being limited to just playing 3 costs for free and instead being able to play any puppet off of itโs effect has won me so many games this month
>>96113342>You can even pay the overclock cost without attacking to trigger the mem gain one that plays a body.If the Overclocking Digimon can attack it must
So yes a summoning sick Chaperomon could delete a Digimon and not attack, but otherwise they would.
>>96113431Even then, you can trigger the arisa, pop the option card, and evo again before the overclock swing finishes. The option card even sets up Shoeshoe token into Karakurumon. Which would basically let you go from levels 3 to 6 for one mem. With how easy most arisas are to sus, the option card effectively gives the entire a free evo whenever you want, even after your turn ends from a different evo. Thats why I think itโs better than a training.
>Wake up
>Purple hybrid glue-eaters are still around
Fuck this faggot deck.
I hope the next set of DM level 4s are security Digimon. HiAndromon and ShinMonzaemon can both put any Digimon in security, it'd be a neat option to place your own (I also think this is what an Adventure Seraphimon should do)
>>96111603 (OP)Man I canโt wait for Ariemon. Exactly the kind of push fish needed.
Also fish girl sexo
>>96112997RK has a shit ton of tools at their disposal, it makes no sense to allow them to use Aces with such efficiency without any draw back where half the time they can just protect them and what not.
NSp just straight up needs a Level 5 which gives all NSp dudes Reboot. NSp's identity of being a multicolor shithole really makes them perfect for Sliver/Survivor gimmicks. They already have ignore redirect, Alliance and Blocker already.
Probably the smoothest game I've had v. ImperialBG in a hot minute.
>expertly pass turn on 1 memory twice
>>96116504Don't forget, we're getting even more Royal Knights and even a new Yggdrasil in BT23.
10,000 more years of Royal Knight supremacy.
>>96116948It gets boring so fast cause I don't think it's possible for the deck to even brick.
>>96116504And that many of the RKs are fan favorites, in multiple series, and the top end for some other decks
Kinda wish OmegaX had his own deck instead of just being winmore in RKslop.dek.
Oh well, odds are I'll get the entire Chronicle DORU line and a Chronicle Dex line before that lol.
>brick into Lilithmon
Fuck
Misplayed my Blast really badly, should've popped the pooper scooper dragon with Ouryuken but didn't.
Didn't occur to me anything with Blue can just splash in OmegaX or Paladin Mode as well for some reason.
But hey, he misclicked my trash and just handed me the game off that misplay, LMAO.
Gotta remember this stuff.
>>96118692Wrong screenshot, lol.
>had two Purple Scrambles that kept him from decking out
Balls
I think I'm driving myself insane trying to tech Rie into a DarkKnightmon deck. I'm starting to think it's not a worthwhile excuse to dust off the xros.
>>96116877I wonder whether Chrome Memory Boost will at least make it playable, you could get by with pure Green/Black (plus Otamamon). I would miss Gekomon and Starmon though.
>>96116877NSp needs a reliable way to stack the deck for Eldradimon, and nothing short of that.
I'd like an EX set based around giving the pendulum field decks support and tamers.
>>96120606Survive is going to be its own thing, they're just going slap on a [survive] trait and call it a day.
>>96120134only if they add metal empire
its been ~weeks~ since machinedramon got a new deck, starved of support
>>96120134My wishes for future field support:
1. Decide on two core colours for each field and rigidly enforce them. e.g. never print a WG card that isn't part Blue or Green
1a. otherwise make either a Pendulum Memory Boost or give each deck unique consistency options
2. Further the deck's existing gameplan
3. When Digimon are in other archetypes, attempt to support both
4. Almost every Level 5 and 6 should have a DNA option. That is how the Pendulums work
5. For God's sake please give us end of turn DNA rookies in each field
>brick
>start to slowly make a comeback
>he just gets to spam Options to get rid of my first Ouryuken with ZERO ramifications
>decks himself out trying to swing for lethal
>don't know if he could've dropped anything for the last swing or w/e
>X Antibody in security passed turn anyways
Pfft
>>96111603 (OP)Potential new player here, is this game cheaper than yugioh or about as expensive as it? Mind you that the average meta deck will run you at least 1k, slightly less if you already have the big staples, but paying nearly a grand for a meta deck, only to have it become useless not even a year later due to bans makes the game as a whole feel like a scam.
The cheaper options (tier 3 and below) are so fucking underpowered that they're just not worth playing unless you only face decks of similar power, which almost never happens because anyone not on a meta deck is on stun, which is arguably even worse because the deck focuses on not letting the opponent do a fucking thing.
The entry price is not the only reason i want to jump ship, it's the shitty practices (namely rarity bumping, short printing, and fixing the meta by either outright killing the strongest decks before introducing new ones or outright powercreeping them) and censorship as well, from what i've seen digimon doesn't shy away from printing gigantic anime tits, which means i won't get kicked out for showing up with titty mats and sleeves either.
>>96127181>Potential new player here, is this game cheaper than yugioh or about as expensive as it?Cheaper. Unless your playing high/max rarity deck, every card in a set has a basic art alternative, which keep deck costs low.
Exception being if a deck absolutely requires 4 copies of an SR to be playable, then those SRs usually run $10-$20
>>96127181It is substantially cheaper. Even the most expensive non-alt art card in the game is only about $80, and is a 1-2 of.
Digimon has a very small amount of censorship, none of it sexual.
>>96127181My Chronicle deck cost me 50 USD to build.
I then rarity upgraded it over the span of two months slowly while splurging a bit on other Alt Arts I could tech.
Not including the unessentials, it cost 130 USD to do that, so 180 USD in total to be a fancy bitch.
New Minerals soon...
I'm predicting evil close gets her level 7, but also a new level 6 instead of an alternate Pyramidimon.
Mostly based on the fact that she's riding around with Proganimon instead of Pyramidi in the last comic.
Either that or it'll focus on Arisa's new stuff and Close will be using the Maquinamon digivolutions.
Is the SIM dead? I cant find games.
>>96128432Make sure you've updated and installed it in the right folder. I was having the same problem and reinstalling fixed it.
>>96127181its pretty affordable aside of some few decks (example those that need to run multiple copies of this fag)
>>96128432I find I have to cancel matchmaking and retry or it just keeps searching forever.
>>96129184>need to No one NEEDS to run this flaming homo, but niggas be dropping a stack or two of McChickens for one or two to be a dipshit.
>>96129222niggas do be running him even in the Adventure deck, its crazy
>>96129252Lilymon and MetalGaruru Ace are already CRACKED with their removal, usually for ZERO COST and niggas be like "let me run something that does set my memory to 0 for financial flex teehee" disgusting
I'm unreasonably angry at fab today, like they announced the silver age because they knew cuck slam was going to be shit
I was wondering how long it would take for this art to be released without the event text similarly to BT16 Dragon Mode? I saw that BT16 came out Dec. 2023, with the import happening on May 2024, and then the BT16 Dragon Mode Alt Art got a reprint without the event text on Dec. 2024.
>got killed on turn 4 by fucking Puppets
Yeah, no, y'all defending this shit need to go.
>>96129184ban can't come soon enough
>>96127181Can confirm the womons have huge melons on em. Fanservice of all kind in fact. Buff guys with chest out. Yep. Kemonos? Yep.
Base rarity of a deck is affordable. If you spent lets say 600-700 on a rogue deck in YGO, that would be equilivant to Alternate Arting/special stamping every card in a deck and still having a ton of money left over for Digimon. (Im not counting SPs/Rare 2 Star Pulls).
Only staple that is YGO priced is MedievalDukemon which had a peak of 105 but is in the 80-90 USD range currenrly.
Small handful of staples with cards containing the names of " (insert color here) Memory Boost", "(insert exercise action here) Training" or (insert color here) Scramble" get reprinted often and are cards to look out for. Almost every deck uses these.
Best part of Digimon is no rarity bumping. Seeing Fuwaloss go from OCG Rare to Secret Rare in TCG wont happen here. We are unified with Asia too so reveals happen at the same time. If its an SR for Japan, its an SR for us as well.
Important cards can have base rarity and
Alternate Art in a set.
Purple might be best color if you enjoy the "GY as second hand" in YGO
Blue or Yellow if you enjoyed midrange/control aspects more
Continuing from my post
>>96130476for
>>96127181Play Red if you were a Tenpai glueeater
Black has Galacticmon I guess.
Green...uh...the best Green decks are mixed with another color.
Yah Black and Green are our weakest colors at the moment.
In terms of anime sleeves/fanservice, as long as it doesnt exceed what the card I put in picrel, most LGS owners wouldnt care.
I play with someone who has an ahegao mat and no one says anything or cares so it depends on your scene.
Only deck I can think of that has unfortunate case of expensive for no reason is UlForce. It got support in new set but it wasnt topping for the longest time and we have yet to see if it will.
>>96128296I expect every Liberator 7 to warp off the lvl5 going off of Arie and Nyaboots.
I would like functionally be a bit different from them since the deck is already otk. Maybe something more utility like how Armageddemon is for Diaboro.
so with the upcoming cyber sleuth theme set do you guys think the new lordknightmon card would add anything meaningful to a lordknightmon deck or not really?
Was going through some of my older cards and saw I had a good chunk of the cards to build a lordknightmon deck but noticed their was going to be a new card so I'm not sure if I should wait or just go ahead and make the deck now?
The fanservice talk reminded me of the yummy art of the incoming ST-22 deck
Do you guys think there is hope for a budget CS deck? I kinda wanna make one to pair to my Adventure deck (the only one i have)
>>96130890Yeah it'd be fine without Sayo or Kuremi. Archetype is worse than Adventure though so idk if they'd pair well
>>96129683I'm mad cause Kaguya does what lillith does but better.
>>96130965Makes sense. I may check other archetypes them, and i kinda wanna check out this deck
>>96130861Upgrading it shouldnt be that expensive from what other have told me about the sakuya deck budget
>>96131505Yeah the vast majority of the deck is dirt cheap and I expect most of it to stay that way. But there are a few things I think you may want to pick up before the Advanced deck releases, or ideally before reveals even start. Because regardless of any specific new cards the deck will add, it's going to drive up interest in the deck and therefore increase demand.
Ruin Mode, the only bank-breaker in the deck right now, is actually at its lowest price since the deck took off after its surprise 3rd place finish at Worlds in March. It's a powerful generic tool for Yellow and Purple, but currently Sakuyamon is the only well-represented deck that's playing it. Because Sakuyamon doesn't have a dedicated level 7 in lore, the Advanced Deck isn't particularly likely to give her a game-changing replacement for Ruin Mode, which means demand will likely be high.
Chaosmon Valdur Arm is pretty cheap right now, but I can't guarantee it'll stay that way. Its "intended" deck is already rogue-playable, and while it isn't an obvious candidate for new support in the near future based on announced set themes, it can't be ruled out entirely It's also proven itself to be viable in other off-archetype decks that happen to be in the right colors and either already stack level 6s (Vortex Warriors and Xros Heart), easily play out level 6s (Xros Heart again and Three Great Angels), or just happen to be in Yellow and have room for it and the splashable MedievalGallantmon (which is even more of a bank-breaker than Ruin Mode). Combined with the Special Boosters' bigger card count meaning a more dilute SR pool, I could definitely see this going up.
Sakuyamon X seems like an unlikely candidate for a reprint in the main part of the Advanced Deck, and she's already the most expensive archetypal Sakuyamon card. Taomon Ace also seems relatively unlikely, and shares the Special Booster issue with Valdur Arm. But they could be in the bonus cards so who knows.
>>96132056Dayum! Thanks for the info!
I will keep an eye on those cards and how they fluctuate in the market, thanks a bunch!
>>96132086As an add on as someone else who plays the deck, I found Valdur to come up much more than Ruin Mode. Standard is to split 2-2 between VA and RM for Level 7s but I might consider going 3-1 on VA/RM. Will be cheaper for you as well
>>96130861can any loremasters tell me why her tao symbols have triangles instead of circles?
>>96132812For the longest time it was just like that with no explanation other than presumably just to not piss anyone off, but they just introduced the Eastern Digital World (after the original/Yggdrasil and Iliad/Homeros) a few weeks ago, and with it, established that it's a symbol of that Digital World's Host Computer Kunlun.
>>96132812For thematic purposes probably. The main trio's digimon from tamers all have triangles on the ultimates.
And calumon.
God I just realised there's a chance of another Duskmon and Velgrmon in EX10
This new set looks so funnn! Also totally caught me by surprisde, for some reason I thought we weren't getting anything new for few months. Also I like puppets. The Cendrillmon seems really strong, even stronger than EX7. You pop a token on evo, overclock it to attack AND give something -3k, immediately create another and safely pass turn. Something tries to hit Cendrill, you just use inherited protection, delete token, spawn another one. Seems really good (and doesn't cost 15+ euros!). Lv7 puss in boots idea seems really cool too. Makes zero sense to evo from Cendrill, but whatevs, its digimon. Effects seem alright, though it seems like it'd drain your hand pretty fast. The new emblem type cards look interesting too.
>we get an official familiar token
>it has Cendri "ooohohohohoho"-ing in the background
I love it. I wonder how rare it'll be, and if it has any cool holo effects or smth.
>>96133797I dont think it, lorewise, volves from Cendrillmon, but its a lv.7 because is the superior evolution.
Thats why it can evolve from Chaperomon too
Sydney regionals
1st: Gallantslop
2nd: Numemon
3rd: Purple Hybrid
4th: DM Machinedramon
5th: Seadramon based Gallantmon X
6th: similar Gallantslop to 1st
7th: Zephagamon
8th: Tyrannomon
>>96134080The Numemon deck being unchanged from whenever the fuck that Seraphimon came out is so funny
DP- go brrrr
>>96134321Neither of them ran any Takato (one ran some Cool Boy, the other only options), which I know has been standard for a while but is still crazy to see.
>>96134080With how much you faggots bitch about it you'd think the top 8 would be all Gallantmon, Megidramon, and Sakuyamon.
>>96135084I'm not a comp fag but tops aren't really indicative of metagame because the best players often bring niche or pet decks to counter the most hyper focused meta decks that non-adaptive players will use.
However in open play that same deck would lose to a majority of wider play decks.
>>96135201So what you really mean is you're shit at the game.
>>96135207Retards trying to act like they're the best player in the world are worse that anyone just playing for shits and giggles.
>>96111603 (OP)I asked before, but what structure mix of 20 and 21 should I buy to start a deck? I forgot
>>96134080Duke is way too flexible imo.
>>96135505Updated this, got 1 of each, and then realized why you should get 2 of each.
Being short on aces is painful.
But I did get a game in, I haven't played since like set 2 and wow does the game have a lot of words now, but it is still pretty fun
>>96135505>>961361791 of each is sufficient. You could probably pick up the extra ACEs from other players.
The hard piece to find is the White Tai, it helps the deck a lot.
>>96135505One of each, but trade for or order a 3rd Matt and a 3rd WarGreymon ACE
>>961364172 white tai isn't bad, what kills me is the medieval one being generic and 80 bucks
>pick up deck that is supposed to be pretty good
>playtesting keeps losing cause everyone keeps having the exact answers to my deckโs gameplan
>look up match videos of the deck winning
>itโs winning cause the opponents simply doesnโt play the stuff that hard counters it
>>96133797I was using maushold cards as my tokens cause rats but I love that new token card. Ive been laughing at the fact the most expensive card Iโll probably need this set is a fucking token.
God I hope Wormmon gets a new line soon. Weโre way overdue for a new Jewelbeemon and Banchostingmon. We donโt even have wormmonโs golden armor form either as a card.
I like when the owner of a deck building thread on the discord gets bitter and makes the title something like this
>>96139007>Weโre way overdue for a new Jewelbeemon and Banchostingmon. But enough about Kunemon! Worm and Hudie are in BT23
>>96127181I could sell you my entire collection for a cheap price if you or anyone is interested. Never played, just collected but stopped since i couldnt find them anymore and no one played it in my area.
I can post pics after work if anyone is interested. Oh and itd be us onlymost likely shipped usps since i live in the woods.
>>96139019they are saving DM ebemon for the villain set
trust the plan, ver.2 chads will be on top
>>96138977>play a mirror match>opponent is playing super suboptimal build>opponent misplaying left and right>spend the whole game searching for pieces>opponent simply draws every piece naturally>have to sit there waiting excruciatingly for opponent to stumble through their plays long enough to finish you off
>>96139960I think Ver. 2 is a little better for Alter-S.
>natively has a Greymon so if you evolve up to it rather than DNA you can spit out SkullGreymon and CresGarurumon>if you run Mamemon for the gacha ACE play you can evolve into MetalMamemon for 1>SkullGrey fetches burnt cards and can float into Vegiemon>(other than training) you're placing cards from your hand rather than top deck, making it less likely to waste your piecesObviously Ebemon would be cool but Ver. 3 is really the only unfinished DM deck
>>96140574ver 1 got an alt mega unrelated to alter S
ver 5 got an alt mega unrelated to mugen engine
to me it seems all but likely that ver 2 gets a none alter S mega so the 3 decks trying to be pull double duty with a second archetype get a proper DM focused level 6
>>96140679I do wonder if that trend will continue into a Ver. 3/4 Chaosmon, or if Chaosmon will stay Accel's thing.
Or they could do a Ver.3/5 Millenniummon and a Ver. 4/5 Chaosdramon instead.
Better look at the Alysion partners from the demo
>>96141556Arise chiggun!
chiggun arise!
Still feels strange that Alysion seems like it's going to be a mobile game exclusively. I feel like part of the reason Yugioh had such a resurgence recently was Master Duel dropping on Steam.
>>96141556I wonder if they'll get 7s since this story is suppose to be tied into liberators.
>>96142063>I feel like part of the reason Yugioh had such a resurgence recently was Master Duel dropping on Steam. Not JUST Steam, it's also on two generations of PS and Xbox, and Switch. Which definitely all contribute.
That said, more and more mobile games are getting PC ports through Steam. Uma Musume's recent popularity being yet another example could help convince the devs or the suits to push for a Steam release.
How do I know which deck to build? What archetypes are even playable?
>>96142684When you're first starting out just choose archetypes that look interesting or resonate with you in some way. Learn how to play that, make a couple of devks and play against yourself for practice, go to local shops that host events and just talk to people about deckbuilding.
Once you're more comfortable tou can go to https://digimonmeta.com/ and look at meta decks that end up winning tournaments.
When my friend wanted to get into Digimon I asked him what his favorite digimon was and he said Tentomon so I built him a bugs deck.
>>96142754Already have a locals, just want cheapish decks that are meta (maybe like 100-150 cap)
I bought the one structure of ST 20 and 21, asked local dudes for extra cards and they are getting me some
Just not sure if there's a meta site that also posts prices of decks and cards along side it
>>96142802You already have the two adventure structure decks, so Adventure is a good one. It's a relatively cheap deck to build since it only needs about two of the Sec Tai and the Promo Wargreymon. Everything else comes in those decks for the most part.
Premium Bandai seems to have expanded to Australia. Only item up is the premium heroines 2 preorder for $77 AUD.
>>96142858What are some other decks I could build? That are meta and under a 100
>>96143036Negamon is pretty easy to put together.
Regionals Season 2 Bowmon
>>96143267Lmao they're never banning it, not that it's even that relevant anymore.
Hello, new shitter here that started playing with the simulator. Where do i find other shitters like me so i can learn the game? I'm leaning towards buying the adventure starters and going to a local, but i'll only be able to do that next week, so i'm trying to dip my toes a bit before that.
Seasarmon is in a weird position now. If Amaterasumon is Red then he will have a bunch of unrelated colors but if he's Yellow then he will have zero synergy with his blue stuff.
The best I can hope for is Seasarmon being Blue/Yellow or Blue/Red for the synergy with the rest.
>>96143325I'll join you anon
>>96143369Appreciate the offer man. I'm heading to bed but if you are available tomorrow at this time -4 hours i'll host and i can try my hand at the adventure deck in that google sheet.
>>96111603 (OP)Reprint when??
And why we never get the deck box...
>>96143627Works on my machine
>>96143627https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/digimon-liberator-deck-box
chronicle anon, could you post your build?
Pulled nothing but turds at prerelease, didn't even get any emblems which is wack because I thought I'd at least he able to throw them into my Liberator decks
Guess I'll just play DM for the first few weeks of this set
>>96145855I'm new to the game (basically started 2 days ago) and have a prerelease tonight
What pulls/cards am I aiming for other than just high value alt art shit?
>>96145988Prerelease is a sealed format with modified rules, you'll make a 40 card deck with your 6 packs and try to make it work.
I'd say the best low rarity cards are the Aiba rookies and champions, Jimiken and Yuugo, RizeGreymon and Okuwamon.
Usually you'll just have to use whatever level 6s you pull so don't stress about them too much.
>>96146312It's also like, color agnostic during prerelease too right?
>people building Kyoko Alphamon
Fuck, I was hoping we'd just see people hop on the Nokia GaruruGreymon bandwagon so I could snatch some alt arts for cheap.
>>96146350Almost. You still need to match colours for options.
>>96144276Here you go, brother.
>>96146387Cool, also how much does the meta shift each set? There are like a ton of deck choices and I'm not sure which are even very good
>vendor I bought my 2nd Black Scramble and 2nd Laplace from has TCGplayer stepping in to refund me
It was only 2 bucks bro, tf. Just send the cards, damn.
>>96146930>also how much does the meta shift each set?Very little as of recent. People get new toy syndrome for the newest stuff but things that have been dominant have stayed dominant for the most part.
Like what does ex9 machinedra do against imperial when he's stuck sideways? Very little
>>96146930Right now the decks that will definitely remain staple for a long time until they're properly dealt with are:
- Royal Knight
- Galaxy
- Both versions of Imperial
- Sakuya
- Everything that runs the Purple Red Guil core
- Puppets because they're the new deck Bandai is shilling tf out of
- OmniAlter-S
- Adventure
Maybe some decks of BT22 stick around, or some of the support like the Nokia and Omnimon shit gets slapped into OmniAlter-S since it's just generic GaruruGreymon support.
They really should make more decks, the adventure one was pretty good and the cool scrambles are very welcome
>>96148771What decks run scrambles? my structures came with 1 of each
>>96148816>What decks run scramblesMost mono color decks will run 1-2 scrambles if they have the space for it
>>96148634Nokia/Tai&Matt Omni soup has been having a bit of early success. Hilariously, one of the key cards from BT22 seems to be Tsumemon, because it can evolve into either of Nokia's rookies, ST20 Adventure Agumon, and even the old EX4 black Rookies.
Yao's stuff is showing promise too.

Got back from my first digimon event which also was a prerelease
Was pretty cool, people were super fucking chill, they gave me a ton of promos since I was new and I went 1-1-1
Cool game will be playing regularly.
>>96149073I don't think it's reaching tier 1 status but I think fish are a lot better now than people are giving it credit for. Ariemon is nuts. It and Diaboro saved the set for me.
>>96149073After testing it a little, I don't think the Tsume build is the way to go. The EX4 searchers are dogshit, and Running 4x BT22 Agumon is kind of silly. the black Gabumons also make it awkward to play SEC greymon.
>>96151601It is a lot, lot better now. Ariemon and the new Ryugumon alone are really strong. I go back and forth on the Unique Emblem, but the new Marinbull is a good 2-of. It may be too early to tell, but I think it might actually be a competitor now.
>>96151565Glad you had a good time
I started playing this year and only recently got the chance to pay it forward with my stockpiled promos
Hey guys, wanted to get a ruling on picrel. I think I already know the answer but it's an annoying answer so I want a second opinion.
BT22 Boltmon can't use Digi-Eggs for its Assembly cost, can it?
>>96152815A Digi-Egg is not a Digimon. See the text above the image on your card. Boltmon requires Digimon, so no eggs.
>>96152861Yeah, I figured as such. Thank you for confirming. In all fairness it'd be madness if you could load up BT3 DemiMeramon over and over
>>96152891You mean fun right? Could have been interesting: reusing Digi-Egg is some new space to explore, especially with DemiMeramon being one of the most common eggs (and still don't see the deck doing much even with that option).
Alas, doesn't work.
Assuming you're building Boltmon, are you aware of Callismon and Anubismon? They seem to be the biggest potential pay-offs for the deck atm: Callismon checks 5 security for 3 memory (BlueMera bring back NSo SkullMera, 2 checks, DNA to Callis, 3 checks, assemble Boltmon for game); Anubis trashes Bolt (and your Flames), lets you bring him out for free (Anubis' reduction stacks with Assembly).
Let us know if you win something!
>>96152968Yep, building it alright :) Definitely running Anubismon, it's got potential to do some shenanigans and it'd be a shame to leave my alt sitting in storage. Only problem is my Callismon are in my NSo deck which I'm not sure I wanna pull apart. Instead I went with MetalGarurumon ACE for interaction, a sort of get-out-of-jail-free card to try and end the opponent's turn early.
Instead of NSo SkullMeramon I wanted to work with a more purple base so I went for 2 BT11 BlueMeramon as the inheritable works well with BT22 BlueMera's Main; use both in Assembly and it reduces 3 cost down to 2, which can make a difference. Plus if I digivolve it's extra draw and trash power
Also, I know the memory boosts aren't what they used to be but glaive for retrieval of Boltmon seemed like a neat inclusion just in case and purple memory because this deck chews through memory so easily. Mimi and Sora are here mostly for the draw power and assembly filtering but the memory doesn't hurt either
Might prove a slower option overall but I think it's got moxie. definitely a more chill deck for games with friends than a competitive powerhouse but it'll do me
>>96148634what about abbadomon
>>96153024Yeah, deck's fun, enjoy! And great to see all those old cards pop up again in people's lists.
Last unasked advice from me: you can also profit from BT22 BlueMera by running BT8 Candlemon, no further changes needed. Although BT3 SkullMera allows you to squeeze out a bit more even: makes Callismon - only 4 checks, but for 1 less memory than NSo SkullMera.
>>96111603 (OP)>TQI am going to one pre-release, which is today. It's a constructed format so I get to actually play Ariemon and get a feel for the new stuff.

>>96154970Yea, imo still a tier 1 solid deck.
Accel support when? Give us another good level 4 and 5 to go into besides the birds. The leomons kinda suck.
Do you think the new Yao cards could play nice with GigaSeadramon?
>>96155302Liamon is mid but LoaderLeomon shuts down Aces.
>>96155302They're getting a better memory boost next month
>>96155678I don't see why not. Sangos as a bot end feel good, and Seadra/Megasea provide a lot of solid stuff in the champ/ultimate slots as well. Gives reason to run BT15 seadra or Promo seadra for those extra rush swings
So do you guys have any ideas on how to make an Eater deck?
I checked some decks online and most play a lot searchers to fill the gaps of the deck
>>96156151You don't technically need to run any other Seadramons alongside GigaSeadramon. Or more like, GigaSeadramon doesn't directly benefit from them, just MetalSeadramon and the X-Antibody options.
>>96155678The new Yao herself is fine but Ariemon and GigaSeadramon are in some ways too similar to work well together, I think. They both want to be loaded up with Digimon sources when you evolve into them to play out with their effects, so anything you play out with Giga is one less thing to play out with Arie. And without Arie, since GigaSeadramon itself isn't a Liberator, that makes the Unique Emblem worse. I think the Sangomon/Shellmon/MarineBullmon cards in general are more or less fine to use as a base for Giga, aside from the fact that they don't give you any particular ways to look for X-Anti Options aside from just a few draw 1s. The inherit on the MarineBullmons is a kind-of okay backup to finding an X-Antibody or MetalSeadramon for GigaSeadramon, aside from being on End of Attack instead of GigaSeadramon's When Attacking. If you do find X-Antibody or Metal though, it becomes redundant. And of course, there's the recurring problem of the only viable MetalSeadramon being an Ace.
There's some potential, but it's not yet realized. I do really like the fact that the X-Antibody options trigger both BT22 and promo Yao, at least.
>>96156352Dunno how strong the deck will end up being but at least it should get further support from the Hackers memory set
Also, so far seems like super cheap to build
And they look rad as fuck
>>96156352>>96156380You don't need searchers. The deck is more of a skill/knowledge/rule check anyways.
>>96156496>skill/knowledge/rule check>3 MedievalGallantmon sure pal
>>96156496Medieval is an auto-include, he synergizes well with cards like Species Form and puts pressure on your opponent to deal with him now instead of saving their bombs for the Mother onslaught. Dexmon is fine but I wonder about X Program. I would assume you'd end up with the wider board more often, so you won't necessarily want the board wipe in that case, and there are enough decks running Antibodies like Gallantmon and Royal Knights that can randomly hose it.
I saw a build with more copies of the Black tamers instead of Mirei, Laplace's Demon and BT12 Sephirothmon, and one Paladin Mode Ace to burst Medieval into that I think would make a better spread out of.
Speaking of X antibody, is a reprint expected to happen soon? A lot of decks I want to play have it and the proto one and they are both expensive as fuck in my shit hole Country

>>96156151>>96156363Maybe something like this? Thoughts?
>>96159213You're probably not running enough Shellmon to use the new MarineBullmon
Personally I think the new stuff does almost nothing for GigaSeadramon compared to the old stuff.
Cool Boy builds usually want Crabmon or Gomamon as the rookie base and a full suite of Seadramon/MegaSeadramon X so it actually procs.

Then they gave it a Digixros to let you pump him full of even more sources, reduced the play cost by 1, and got rid of his evo cost from Black.
>>96165116>>96167299I'm really hoping we get the remaining Big-Death Stars or whatever they're called in this set, specially GrandGeneramon though the latter is uncertain. I just don't want them to save those Digimon for another Xros-focused set.

Why are the DCGO devs so fucking bad? When Yugioh gets reveals, they get added to sims as early as the next day. Cards with more complicated effects may take longer. Does anything from Cyber Eden do anything completely new? It shouldn't be hard to add new cards unless they have effects that are new. Like
