Because his primordial nature wants to be edgy but his social nurture prevents him.

made popular video that directed normies to 1d4 chan and thus watered down its charm as normies are like to do.

It wasn't normies, he is a youtuber who purposefully created a fanbase of activists. He sent them to 1d4chan and they brought it down with constant mass edits. The owner took it down and hoped to wait them out but they were stalking the place for months, mass removing all articles that had any board culture. When his yearly payment was up he just ditched it since they made it unfun to run

The only fun things I liked on 1d4 were thr Noh porn, the smut copy-pasta, and that schizo faggot obsessed with Archaon who came here to threaten the WFG because he blamed them for vandalizing the Archaon article to make fun of him.

ambivalence is also part of 4chan culture and I can respect that, it is still a shame. people probably backed it up tho.

There's tons of archives now, yeah. 2d4chan got uploaded to basically be a time capsule version of it before it died.

There's no one more dedicated than a wiki editor. Petty tyrants who make it their life's purpose to endlessly try to control what other people are allowed to think about things that don't actually matter.

If there was wiki in the 1940s, Hitler, stalin, Mussili and Hirohito wouldnt even bother with being dictators, they would have a much better time being wiki editors.

wikis do a good public service corralling potential dictators towards meaningless persuits.

There's a couple of warring backups last I heard. One is a censored version controlled by a redditor who used to have a jannie friend here (1d6), one is an outdated piece of shit, and I think there was a third but I honestly didn't follow the drama that long or closely.

I do know the redditor tried to get some help from the old suptg community and was more or less politely ignored. Speaking of, suptg is still around.

4chan's relative freedom (far reduced from the 05-10ish period) makes it attractive even to "ideological enemies," because traditional social media is a sterile panopticon. You've actually seen a surprising number of troonsky users go back to cockmusk's website because it's boring to live in the digital equivalent of that town Squidward moved to.
