>This game contains themes of: Abuse of Power, Body Horror, Systemic Injustice, Systemic Oppression (projected onto players), Religious Trauma, Religious Oppression,
>This is a game about religion, not faith. This game is centred on the Christian faith because of its history as a tool used corruptly to maintain power. This game isn't about the Christian faith, however. This game is about religious institutions and the way that they can (and historically have) gone from institutions of hope and salvation to institutions of shame and fear. There's an alternate universe where this game takes place in a utilitarian city state and every player plays as criminals instead of a religious city and sinners. However, ideas of sin and redemption are amazing ways to explore ideas of people that society believes to be unredeemable.
>If these ideas or themes are distressing or troubling to you, this game may not be for you.
>This game IS a playtest of a PbtA game that I've been writing.
