This is what the HOSTILE setting by Zozer Games provides. No alien races, just corporations sending workers out to exploit every planet they can find and ship the resources back to Earth.

If you like rolling lots of 2d6s like Battletech, it's probably for you. If you like pre-Star Wars space opera, it's probably for you.
