Struck up some small talk while browsing and found out we went to the same uni. I asked her out mostly because I was alone in a new town and needed some sort of social connection.

I was completely new in town so I just asked her about the store and the town in general and it went from there. The store was pretty dead and she was bored, it probably helped. The fact we went to the same uni gave us a connection outside the lgs. Besides that, try being tall. I think that was probably what helped the most.
