I've been thinking this was dead for the longest time but I just checked the patreon and it's still getting updates and is like 50 pages ahead of the main site which hasn't been updated for years it feels like.

My theory is that he has a job and a relationship, so he has less time for childhood hobbies. He's been doing this for 24 years. He's a completely different person now than he was when he started, and probably less interested in blue space elf self-insert fantasies (he says his self-insert is an elf male who hasn't shown up yet, but c'mon).

The Patreon provides him with a nice little income stream, at least. Or maybe he still likes penciling but has gotten bored of coloring. He definitely used AI in at least two of the "recent" updates.

This and Gunnerkrigg Court were mildly popular on /tg/ years and years ago. I never understood why, because the stories were shit and the pace was agonizingly fucking slow. After YEARS of this shit being published, they were still in what was basically the prologue. I bet they're still in the prologue.

If you want a fantasy webcomic that actually updates, there's Unsounded. Outsider has always been this way though, to be fair.
