Honestly I've reached the point where the rng basis of tabletop rpg games have turned me away altogether. I'd rather have a game with perfect information, where I know I WILL hit for THIS damage, even if I don't know enemy values. Hell even if it was mixed, like your lowest most basic attack action will always hit, and rules can be made for how that interacts with armor and shields and all that shit, but if you want to do something more complex, THEN you have to roll dice to see if it works.
I'm tired of watching both my character and others be turned into bumbling nincompoops by shitty dice rolls, in a game about being cool, competent adventurers, both in and out of combat.
Imagine if every time you went to take a piece in chess you had to roll dice. Does that sound like a way to make the game more fun, or does it sound like a way to make a 30 minute game take 4 hours?

depending on what year you bought them, those dice might have lasted longer than the confederacy itself. take good care of them.
