W40k Sector creation thread #5
>+++ADMINISTRATUM PASS KEY ACCEPTED+++
>Loading message...

Welcome to another glorious day in your officio station revered clerk of the Administratum.
Your efforts in compiling the information on [Vokaris Sector] and its eight subsectors have been further garnering plenty of praise from your peers and lords above your meager station, we implore you to continue to gather this stellar data about this sector in our grand Imperium of Man
A brief reminder that as data comes in via the servitors around you, you will have to compile it and make this sector whole again.
May the God Emperor continue to guide you clerk Anon.

Hello there, Anons of /tg/. If anyone is still interested in this fun project, here is the whole sector - updated with the discovered planets so far - where we can continue to create together, using the planet generator found on 1d6chan.

We just really like burying people, what can I say? It's probably related to why all our "hive" worlds barely have enough people to fill a single city.

Newly Settled: The world was colonised in recent centuries and is still in early stages of industrialisation. Many minor factions and noble houses are still vying for power. The world may be in a state of cold war, or is calmly settling into it's place in the imperium. The hives are likely in their first stages of development, with some areas resembling sprawling cities rather than true hive spires. The air is still just clean enough to breathe even at some of the lower levels, though pollution is steadily worsening.

>Dependent: The hive world’s economy is stagnant, surviving only due to support from external powers or wealthier planets. Its production capabilities are minimal, focused on menial tasks or raw resource extraction, often directed by off-world entities. The planet is heavily dependent on imports, and its trade routes are controlled by others, leaving it with little economic autonomy. This dependence can make it vulnerable to war, pirate attacks, resource depletion, or trade manipulation by more powerful worlds. The population earns meagre wages, lives in deteriorating housing, and works in gruelling conditions with little opportunity for improvement.
Despite having more people, it doesn’t have a lot of staying power. 1d6 for its Tithe.

They will seek to prevent crime before it happens, intervening in domestic disputes or illegal activities without resorting to violence unless necessary. The Arbites are respected by the populace for their sense of duty and fairness, and while they will still execute criminals when needed, they are seen as a stabilising force rather than an oppressive one. Their role is to ensure peace, while still able to instil fear in the lawless. Punishment may include impressment into a penal legion, the guard, navy, or PDF—off-world.

Which is going to be a real problem since faith alone doesnt keep the lights on, and the red robes are going to take a very dim view of anyone attempting to get by without them.

Nothing concrete. The rolls so far seem like Dark Mechanicum, had, or currently have, some foot hold in the sector with the weird technology left on some worlds, the distrust of Mechanicus and one of the Forge World's enemy is a Knight House in service to Dark Mech. CSM usually are raiders so their enemy might not even a foot hold here, they might have waged war on one of the worlds centuries ago and their bitterness still remains.

Developing/Civilised World: 'Adolescent' colony worlds that just sort of sat there and were allowed to develop on their own before the IoM came around asking for tithes. Often highly balkanized and highly culturally diverse, yet decently developed with a population somewhere in the million-billion bracket, up to around 10 billion or so, and may have one hive city for a capital pushing the population maxing out at 15 to 20 billion or so. The balkanization is not strictly under national lines (indeed, the Administratum would prefer to deal with one governor and the factions of the planetary one-world government rather than disparate states if the world is advanced enough) and the divide may be factionalism under a single planetary government, the factions being composed of various nobles and rich burghers or the purveyors of certain produced goods for example. This is the most common form of planet in the Imperium and they are fairly pleasant as far as the Imperium goes, not having the issues found on specialized planets, not being overcrowded hellholes like Hive Worlds, and also not being priority targets.

Anonymous No.96892216 [Report]

it's almost at the point where the weather would be fairly neutral. you go through cycles of hot and cold so quickly nowhere really has time to build up extreme temperature gradients. The slow planetary rotation also causes more friction for winds overland, to an extent, slowing down weather patterns.

Also, the planet is so damn big that large scale systems are almost impossible, they blow out before crossing most of the planet.

so we have 4 billion people on a planet with a surface area of 67,460,050,798,752,867,942 square kilometers.

Yes, that is 67 and a half SEPTILLION square kilometers, based on about 70% of the total area being land, and 30% being water, the inverse of Earth. Seems about right for a Parched world.

There are on average 6 to the NEGATIVE 11th people per square kilometer. Which is starting to get into "number of air molecules at the edge of space" density.

You could pack half of Segmentum Solar onto this planet with room to spare, lol. 99.9999999999% of this planet is completely uninhabited, it's barely an outpost, haha.
