Premium DNA who did the Battletoads and Banjo Kazooie toys and were soon to have an Earthworm Jim line have pretty much disappeared… Earthworm Jim figures started showing up on AliExpress and they swore up and down that these were rejected figures and that the real ones would be much better quality. Wel they haven’t said anything since last July at this point. Complete radio silence and their website has been “under construction” for pretty much that same amount of time. Did they just take everyone’s money and run?

Entertainment earth cancelled all their preorders weeks ago, not sure about BBTS but it’s pretty clear if you want this stuff you should buy it from aliexpress because you’re not getting it otherwise, Premium DNA is cooked.

Yes, again. Everyone told people not to trust them after the first time and people still didn't listen.

It's a shame, they were pretty cool figures, same with Battletoads, another 2-3 series would've been awesome, maybe they were too ambitious

They were first operating as Megalopolis Toys years and stopped sending product out and just took people's money before going bankrupt or something then reopening with these same people in charge and the same mascot even though they swear they are not affiliated. But the current owner of Premium DNA is the brother of the guy who was the owner of Megalopolis or whatever. Entertainment Earth also sued them for not delivering product or something. Just always bad news and issues with these guys.

NTA but someone makes a thread exactly like this every 2 weeks or so. Asking where the Earthworm Jim things are and if PDNA had any updates on their other stuff people had pre-ordered.

I knew they were going to do a runner eventually but I wish they would have at least gotten around to Clayfighter or done all three Battletoads first. Anyone who ordered directly from them kind of deserves what they got though.
Also those Jim figures were crazy fragile. One fall and the head snaps right off.

They're pieces of shit honestly. I would have been pretty annoyed if I paid full price for Jim between the chest cracks and the straps that came torn from being slightly too small.

They are getting sued by ShipMonk for lack of payment IIRC.

Back when this brand launched I thought it seemed way too ambitious to announce all those licenses and it was retarded they started producing MadBalls of all things before anything else, turns out I was right and they've just been staying afloat by not paying anyone lol

They just followed the same gameplan as Geoff Beckett of Shocker Toys. That dude was constantly taking preorders for his Indie Heroes and Anime Heroes lines at tow shows. Then he always had an excuse about what he was taking preorders for the Nth wave when N-1 and N-2 and N-3 still hadn't show up. So many boats "sank" or trucks "crashed" or factories "moved." Eventually it collapsed and then he started all over again as GBJr Toys. But I think he burned enough bridges that it never went anywhere...

Yeah I did and I’m absolutely gutted.
They were doing them from the original cards and were planning on doing everything involved.
There’s a good book that has the cards pics and a few cards, it also has some history about the card.
Pretty cheap too, really worth looking at if you’re a fan

So they were right about the qc issues? Also, I think that's probably more the design than anything.

what a shame, i liked jim, mainly for the faces though, and i wouldn't minded some buttefly shoulders if it meant to cut the sculpt of the body, and psycrow, who looked even better than jim but it felt even more stiff.
gonna have to get professor monkey for a head and bob before they dissapear then, and mourn that we will never get a princess what's her name and peter puppy

Something a lot of people forget is that the Four Horsemen hired them as their official distributors for a short time.
