I have an extra Skullgrin (was missing a weapon and got it for dirt cheap) which I'm gonna use with Mavs' D-16 kit to make a pre-war Megatron. Also going to model up and print a new turret and weapon for him to make his vehicle mode moderately less useless looking. Torn on whether his former occupation should be a miner or a gladiator though. Gladiator could be fun and would be pretty simple as it would basically just involve giving him a tankier tank mode, but drill tanks are fun too and I do like the idea of him being an honest hard-working miner prior to becoming the tyrant we all know and love.

well Tigerhawk is a lot better than I thought, even if there's still some baffling choices that didn't help either mode. very good transformation. I am very curious how those MP hands are going to work, given that his tiny hands are on little hinges, but I trust that anon who said it can work

weird that there's so many hinges in the beast mode neck, yet when it's all together and tabbed in, none of it moves. and also the tail doesn't flatten out. seems like one more accordion of plastic was in the budget, but maybe not.

Godzilla Megatron just entered my Private Warehouse - I ordered him off of HLJ before he went up elsewhere. Gonna ship him with some other stuff I was waiting on; we'll see how long it takes for him to get here. So I recently got some Gen 1 reissue figures (the RID Desert Camo Combaticons and the Retro Gen 1 Insecticons).
