I'm pretty tempted to pick up another Reflector variation as he falls into army builder territory for me, but I really don't want that Thundercracker. Would there be any demand for just the Thundercracker? I already have 3 of the Siege Refraktor, the Refraktor Reconnaissance Team, and one Netflix Scrapface, so I think I've already talked myself into needing this. It helps that the mold has a lot of versatility in terms of both official and fan modes.

Also Reflector only existed to pas out the Decepticon numbers until wave two as the three in one figure caused problems for Hasbro since they didn't have a proper price point for what essentially was a three pack plus the fact that they could not sell them individually because each bot turned into part of a camera meaning you were fucked if you didn't have all three(hence why they were only sold as mail order figures)

Transformers is such a big fandom that even outdated iterations will still fetch a good price out of completionism or attachment.
Still it's hard to think of who would care about Takara's Legends Hot Rod after studio series. Just reminds me of UT redecoes from the 2000's trying to look more G1 which became obsolete once proper G1 molds came out.
But you're right, if you're just trying to break even on it you end up fine.

And thanks. Yeah, it's two different kits, about 50 bucks altogether. Pricy, but I like Bludgeon a lot and I'm happy with the end result. Came with some red panels for the arms too, but I think I'm going to leave the green ones on for a more even color pallete.

These guys arrived way earlier than I thought they would. Still not too sure on the choice of Weirdwolf for Carnivac, and him having a named headmaster with no established personality upsets my autism, but it’s a neat set. Having an affordable Ironfist is worth it alone, love this goober.

Kremzeek has had multiple toys in the past. He came with Autotrooper (the original Kiss Players version), Masterpiece Megatron (the first one with the skinny legs), the WfC Reflector three-pack, and Super7's non-transforming Ultimates Megatron. There was even a BotBot that transformed into a gun (I guess they got away with it 'cause it was so small?) with a robot mode based on G1 Megatron, but with Kremzeek's face.

I got these guys in yesterday and ironfist's tiny head has really been bothering me. A lot. The weird wolf mold is great though so I don't have any complaints with them reusing it. Especially since they fixed the back panel issue. Just wish they went the extra mile and gave him a new wolf head.

It kinda ruins the figure for me. I can't look at him without thinking about the goombas from the live action super mario movie. It's a shame because all the new tooling for his vehicle mode looks great. Even his head looks nice, but it's just so small. I don't really understand why they didn't make it bigger and have it sit lower on the ball joint like they did for Hound. Or hell even just tweak the shape of Ironfist's head if they were having problems getting it to play nice with the transformation. It just looks dumb.

Man, I just got a scrap heap and I hate transforming it. Having the whole head be painted and giving it zero clearance is so frustrating. There's a trick to getting it in perfectly, but then it's a hassle to get it out.
