For considering SHF 2B over Figma? I was thinking about it and I could get SHF 2B and 9S for a little more than the price of the Figma and set up some cool poses with the two of them. Meanwhile I don't think Figma will ever make 9S and the SHF won't scale with it.

I was planning to get Figma mainly for the ass but also overall sculpting and proportions on it do look better. But honestly Figma lately has been underwhelming to me and it feels damn more satisfying to open a nice and compact SHF box over a Figma plastic bag factory.

So I guess I'm asking is the SHF really that bad? Based on reviews these are the pros and cons I've gathered:

Pros
>one more face plate than Figma
>better face expressions
>better stand
>can display with 9S
>cheaper

Cons
>meme ass
>weird shoulder joints
>no Virtuous Treaty or black box
>won't scale with the Figma A2 I've already preordered

And I guess it's too early to make pros and cons for Figma though to me it does look a bit better at least. So what do you brand war schizos think?

You aren't retarded, but I think the Figma looks better. I have the SHFs, and I am happy that I can display her with Nines. But the face sculpt is a bit soft, and the pantsu situation is dire. The shoulders aren't the worst thing.
I am also getting the Figma and A2 because I love the game, and I need A2 to fight her sister.
If you really want to pair her up with Nines, do it. But in all honesty, unless the Figma is a total disaster, I can't see the SHF increasing in price.

I just think the Figma simply looks better, looks-wise and just the overall proportions. I cancelled my PO for the Figuarts because I wasn't sold on how it looked even before the Figma was fully revealed. Also I'll take A2 over 9S any day.

I was an SHF hater for a long while but I finally gave in and got some One Piece figures and thought they were pretty good. Tbh I even sort of feel like flipping on Figma now. Their prices keep going up while figures come with less and less. And most anime figures feel like the same thing every time, there is no innovation. I never feel like "wow they engineered this part really cleverly". Maybe Revoltech mogs both but I have yet to get one and see for myself.

Okay bros after thinking about it more, I think I will just get the Figma as planned and either forget about 9S or get him and ignore the size difference. Figma's thighs are too yummy to pass on. I was in the same spot as you(after playing through the game for the first time in December/January). Honestly the Figma just looks WAY better. And scaling with A2 >> scaling with 9S. And even the 9S is already pretty undersized compared to SHF 2B. Honestly there is a reason that figure is binning. Not only do people not really give a fuck about him, but it's a pretty shitty figure from the research I did. I kind of wanted to recreate the trio as well, but I realized that dude only takes away from the girls. Even if he is dirt cheap on all these import sites. SHF is better scale-wise, though cause sadly Figma's 2b is way oversized.

OP here again, even though I said I was getting the Figma I actually ended up ordering the SHF but I got her for free because I had a gift card. So I may get the Figma as well when it comes out and perhaps sell SHF depending on how much I like it

Probably no one cares anymore but my 9S arrived from Japan. Still waiting for the 2B replacement but I actually really like 9S. He feels fine to handle and for articulation I think he does what he needs to. My main gripe is he doesn’t have a peg hole in his back even though they included a stand. I guess there’s the claw option but I prefer pegs.

But I think this means I will like 2B as well. Also as I said in OP I love how compact and efficient SHF boxes are and to me they feel a lot more satisfying to crack open vs other brands.
