What is the figure you most regret ever purchasing?

For me its this. Figma really fucked up with this one. I can't stand the hip skirt flap that makes it impossible to pose denji without actually damaging the figure itself over time plus articulation in general is shit.

Honestly I kind of feel bad about most Figmas I have spent over $50-60 on. Theyโ€™re not that great and not really worth it. But if I want figs of anime characters I like, there is usually no alternative unless it's a mainstream shonen. $30-40 would be okay but I hate that they are double that now.

I would agree. Shonen Figma have been my biggest regrets over the years. No.1 has to be Bakugo, followed closely by Genos.

Samus figma, ryu hayabusa revoltech, or the makai garo. They all have flaws big enough for me to regret purchasing them.

Shitty paint/qc on mines. The arms wouldnt stay in the socket too. Gsc gave me a new arm but it still slowly sags out because theres nothing gripping it in place. Another anon had the same issue too. This is the dread one mind you.

I love figmas for being pleasant to look at, but they're too often bad toys in comparison lately. the SHF is the best one imo, even the budget brands pose better

Ironic that just about every version is better.
Even the Jazwares version is decent compared to the ass figma.

Bring Arts 1.0 2B. What a disappointment she was. Hope the Figma comes out alright.

There are some Figma that have been surprisingly bad for them in the latter years despite the rapidly expanding prices, like their Chainsaw Man figures (though Aki turned out pretty good I guess), the Jigokuraku figs and the oversized QC ridden Link. Overall I still love buying Figma and line mix quite a lot with series so I can have the better of the two releases, but I donโ€™t love playing roulette if I want to preorder a figure that has a bonus.

>Figuarts Guts
I was genuinely excited for this figure, considering the figma was out of reach for a while. Unfortunately the figure just sucked all the joy out of me. I modded him to work now but Holy shit what a letdown.
>MG Figurise HeatMetal
Weird one, but I paid like 10 bucks for him, and thought "what could go wrong?" For some odd reason, the silver had yellowed in the box, and was starting to crumble heavily. The model was a shrapnel grenade at that point. Never was able to finish it.
>Hasegawa Xabungle
One of the worst models engineering wise. I wish I got the moderoid instead. The full armor set "fixes" some of the issues, but the hips are still an affront to god.

>Amazing Yamaguchi Bakugou.
Hard disagree. There are a lot of characters in that line that don't need super-expressive and over-extensive articulation points, but this crazy guy works for those the most. He doesn't suffer consequences of thin piece/fragile looking parts, nor mold detachment when he's needed for dynamic poses.

Mine is a floppy mess and looks weird, is too tall and chunky and they screwed up with the elbow pegs then never fixed it and basically let first wave buyers be beta testers.

Did you buy a bootleg Bakugou? All mine's joints are tight, and they don't even use the clicky ones anymore. He even does a real good standing lunge pose. I don't even know about chunky, but he's got those grenade forearms that aren't weighed down by expected mass
