On a different note, has anyone completed the entire set of planelegs Walküre kits? On top of SRW Y having both G-Witch and Macross Delta, a group shot of the idol group with the Witch and her Bride might be a sight to behold.

Finally got around to building her Willize Mode. Once again had to fight the urge to go crazy with paint, but ended up brushing over her gold bits with a more eye-catching color, painting all of her little gemstones, and doing the blade of her scythe the same shade of silver as her hair. I love the scorpion tail on her; its neat.
Haven't decided if I should work on my Lumitea ReACT or finally dig out either Kairos or Skuld; all three have been in my backlog for forever, though Kairos has been there the longest...there's also my Stylet XF-3 and SOL Raptor from over 7 years ago that I almost forgot I even had at this point...damn. I really need to find more time to clear this stuff out...

Got my Ame-no-Uzume from snail mail Saturday, finally had a second to take some pictures.

I don't know if its the yellow or what, but she definitely pops way more than the other Regalia. She also solved my "you don't look like you" issue I had with Susanowo Regalia... but I seem to remember some setting that in universe Amaterasu made Susanowo Regalia, so I suppose that would make sense anyway.

Once Tsukuyomi comes out all four imperial MDs will have been released... wonder if we'll see more of Amaterasu AUV once that happens.

What's the fucking point of the Megami Device top/bottom expansion packs? They don't come with the torso peg, I have tons of spare torso parts but no pegs. They aren't meant to allow to make brand new figures, they just let you alter the proportions for kits you've already bought. If you happen to be able to use them for a custom that's kind of a side boon. Koto has been incredibly stingy with that torso joint, so good luck getting an official spare if you aren't in Japan and able to use the parts ordering sheet. I found some brass joints on irosika that work great but my link is dead. SH Studio has some copies of the same, but their quality was hit and miss in my experience.

They work for the most part. FAGs will be a little big since they're closer to 1/10th, most MDs are fine on 1/12th vehicles (not that there's exactly a lot out there to test them on in the first place). 30MS do tend to be a bit smaller, so many of them might have some scaling trouble.

Because they are newer and Kongu and Izumo haven't fully saturated into collectors hands. Once we see a Reissue of the normal versions the destroyer versions price should settle higher.

After lurking for a while, I finally got my own Shinki. Fubuki's joints were pretty loose and her stand was broken at one of the pegs, but that's a given due to being 2nd hand. The Bookoff at Ebisubashi should still have a Lancamento, red Tsugaru, two versions of Eukrante, and I think Strarf Orca for those in Osaka.

I added the missing colors with paint, removed a few seam lines with plastic cement (mainly on the sleeves and the shimenawa), added shading to deep recesses with 'real touch' gundam markers, and I also sanded a lot of the surfaces down with a sanding sponge to get rid of the glossy surface.

I think I put one of the sleeve decals upside down, but brute forced it and it tore a little.
I also didn't really put any extra work into the staff besides giving the shaft a few lines around those protruding details.

On the second cut 100% its completely different. Using the single bladed cutter (correctly) makes stress marks extremely unlikely to form. There is a reason modelers refer to your stock beginner tamiyas as crush type nippers.

Just put together the Megalomaria Penetrator and her legs clamp around the PVC pieces really loosely. Is that to do with the green plastic, because usually it's a nice tight fit (others I have so far are Seeker, Principal, and Mephisto), but due to the looseness she has trouble standing. I'll leave some floor polish in there overnight to see if it can sufficiently thicken up. There's always a tissue paper trick, and super glue as a last resort. Just curious if anyone had experienced similarly.

I don't know why you guys are trying to fight about some shit like this, the two lines are trying to do very substantially different things. One is trying to adapt established designs into girls, and the other is trying to be Busou Shinki as model kits. One has a lot more room for creative freedom and I understand that can leave the other feeling a little jank sometimes. When your given artwork you have to adapt as a poseable model kit some things get a little weird, something having an established base body makes much easier.
