I don’t think displaying figures is really posh. Maybe like marble statues or other art pieces would be. Also what are you gonna say if someone asks who that is when you don't even know the character? But anyway I guess it depends what else you are displaying on the shelf alongside it. But I guess it's tasteful enough that people won't assume you are a weirdo coomer or something. Idk I would focus on just getting stuff you like, probably no visitors are going to care about this whomegalul character. Even a katana would be better to get reactions.

It depends, as a fellow collector so it would catch my attention if i see it but i doubt the average person would be interested on it but you should get it if you really like it for your display.

If you want a figure to start conversations you should get a more popular character, any super hero figure would do the trick. I have a bootleg Mezco deadpool in my office and people are always asking me about it.
