I miss this franchise so much. Nostalgia blinds me from the fact that they were overpriced 5poa shit, or oversized and badly articulated, at least until Playmates took over. But I've never felt such a huge "COLLECT THEM ALL" vibe from other recent toylines compared to this. Very rarely does anything last past a first wave nor a lucky 2, while still feeling impulsively collectible.

I feel like the only 1 or 2 waves of a failed line has been a thing since the 80s. The stuff that hits big is what is a rarity. Things like TMNT, Power Rangers, and Pokemon that took off for their toyetic designs and popularity. Meanwhile you got things like Bucky O'Hare and Earthworm Jim that only got one wave and weren't successful enough to warrant a second.

There's a lot of talk on discord and various other groups where many people are hoping for this exactly. Like a Jada or Super 7 Ultimates (without the shit QC) line. There are actually several customizers making really awesome super articulated aliens now too.
