hey /toy/ idk anything about /toy/ browsed this board so sorry if this is thread is inappropriate.
I posses a NECA Half-Life 2 Zero-Point Energy Field Manipulator Replica. They are no longer in production. On ebay they range from $500 - $1500 but I've had trouble with ebay before so I'm looking to sell to a hobby/retro games store.
my question is how do I figure out what it's worth and what price I should take for it. I've heard that when selling in person to no expect ebay prices.

You can arrange collection in person with eBay, I believe, to avoid getting scammed, or do it over Facebook and only accept cash in hand. You’ll get ripped off hard selling to a hobby store.

Yeah, they need your ID and banking details to be sure you’re a real person and to give you the money you make. Otherwise if you don’t want to give any online vendors your personal details your best bet is Facebook or some other social media and arranging a cash in hand in-person transaction. Obviously choose a public place and bring friends for large amounts of cash.
A hobby shop is going to offer you like $250 max then you’ll see it gathering dust in a case for the rest of its days there in a cabinet for $2000.
