Interesting take. Articulation and engineering certainly has improved, there's zero debate there. Likeness to the source material has also improved with the advent of digital face printing and the like. You have toys now that look closer to the source material than ever. And I know this is kind of subjective, but I was never a fan of how the older ToyBiz era stuff would just slather that heavy, grungy looking wash on everything. Every figure looked like you dropped it in the mud. People will argue that we get less paint now, and while that's true, I prefer the aesthetic a bit more.

No, your assertion that a 20 year old game is no longer popular is completely wrong by fathoms. Capcom Fighting Collection released on Switch/PS4 and the main selling point was Marvel Vs Capcom 2. The physical game is sold out at most stores. The old MvC2 game for PS2 and Dreamcast fetched hundreds of dollars at auctions. Any merch based on MvC2 instantly sells out. Hasbro unfortunately gave up the marvel versus Capcom license, tried to get it back and was unsuccessful. Now they're doing everything they can to hint these characters are based off the game without actually using the logo and name. As other people have stated before this game is played it almost every tournament. The multiplayer lobbies are always full.

If Jada were to make a deal with Capcom and produced their side of the characters, it would be like printing money even for characters like Hayato and Amingo which most people have never heard about outside of the game. Ruby Heart's character along with Son Son and Amingo were created specifically for MvC2 and people commissioned 3D printed statues of them for a grand. To say that a 20 year old game has no market for merch is insane.

You can remove his pentagram/dark eye circles using 91% alcohol and a Q-tip. Assuming you're going for the movie version I suggest using one of the suited bodies with an open jacket (or modded one) and Damion's bare chest like Dorff in the last half of the movie. It'll take cracking open the torso or waist. The torso will be covered by the jacket tho so split at the sides. That combo will make a convincing Frost when you paint his hair, even paint some chest hair with a tiny 000 brush
