Ok I’ll go with the topic of the thread. My buddy Dave lived in a nasty area and he was a big Godzilla collector. Of course the apartment building he lived in was probably the worst building in that section as well. He had numerous times he’d come home and his door was kicked in while he was at work. All of his Godzillas were gone along with games and his tv. This was early 90s so stuff was easy to replace except some of his early 80s American toys. I remember taking him to a KB Toys spin off store and bought another NES Godzilla game on discount. This happened several times over the course of several years. Then he finally moved and started replacing his collection. The things he didn’t replace funny enough was the Trendmasters 98 movie stuff or merchandise.

Seems like this must be b8 about some YouTube niche micro celebrity bullshit, but I'll answer sincerely: I live in a condo in Chicago. Its a duplex with a staircase going down to "garden" level (basement, but with decent windows just above ground level) where I set up my office. I've got a pretty large collection, mostly in IKEA shelving with glass doors. It's not the ghetto or anything but we have had some shootings in the area (niche gangs shooting each other, and good riddance when they are successful). I don't really see how it's any different from collecting in the suburbs though.
